MLB 14 The Show Available As Day 1 Digital Download Available to Download Now (PS4)

MLB 14 The Show will be available as a Day 1 digital download at 12:01 AM EST on May 6th. (SEE UPDATES BELOW) Similar to how users were able to download the PS3 version, expect it to be available at that time, give or take a few minutes.

It doesn't appear as though you will be able to pre-download, as some hoped with the latest PlayStation update. VG24/7 noted Watch Dogs will be the first game available for pre-download, releasing on May 27th.

UPDATE: As of 10:30 AM EST, the game is still not available to download.

UPDATE #2: Due to unforeseen technical issues, MLB 14 The Show for PS4 is not currently available for download via the PlayStation Store. All parties are working as quickly as possible to remedy the issue. We�ll update this post as soon as a resolution is reached. Thank you for your continued patience.

UPDATE #3: Based off of the many responses, the download should be available for everyone now.

Christian: ok that quite honestly unacceptable is there going to be some sort of gift to those of us who chose to buy from PSN instead of walmart, gamestop etc.. because there should be or at least you should make an anouncement about the delay to the public

Fernando C.: I can completely understand your point Christian, I wish I could do something else for you but my power is limited.

Fernando C.: Believe me, I am waiting for the game too. (LOL!!!)

See, this was my attitude too...earlier. Thirty minutes to an hour wait? Cool. Two hour wait? Hmmm...ok. Now a THREE HOUR wait? it's beginning to get a bit ridiculous. I'm not losing any sleep over here (literally, as I'm up now regardless, and don't have to get up tomorrow), but the fact that we're 3 hours past the advertised time, I can understand why some ppl are getting pissed.

Well maybe you should have prioritized.

Not trying to be rude but the world isnt ending here. There tomorrow, all week, month summer. So you have to wait a few extra hours have you not been waiting months already? Theres tons of other things to do. Go do one of them.

its okay. im on this scedule anyways. im used to going to sleep around 9 or 10. it just sucks i wanted to play tonight before hand.
