MLB 14 The Show Available As Day 1 Digital Download Available to Download Now (PS4)

MLB 14 The Show will be available as a Day 1 digital download at 12:01 AM EST on May 6th. (SEE UPDATES BELOW) Similar to how users were able to download the PS3 version, expect it to be available at that time, give or take a few minutes.

It doesn't appear as though you will be able to pre-download, as some hoped with the latest PlayStation update. VG24/7 noted Watch Dogs will be the first game available for pre-download, releasing on May 27th.

UPDATE: As of 10:30 AM EST, the game is still not available to download.

UPDATE #2: Due to unforeseen technical issues, MLB 14 The Show for PS4 is not currently available for download via the PlayStation Store. All parties are working as quickly as possible to remedy the issue. We�ll update this post as soon as a resolution is reached. Thank you for your continued patience.

UPDATE #3: Based off of the many responses, the download should be available for everyone now.

I downloaded the ps3 version at 12:30 am EST. I believe you're the one who announced it is always this way, so perhaps you should provide your proof with that statement.

Hey at least it's something different! Maybe means it's in the process of updating the server? Wishful thinking perhaps, but I'll take any change as a good sign right now, even no screen ;-)

That's just their way of covering their assess. If it does come in 20 minutes that just means they were 3 hours late..

Where did you see that it's always PST? Just curious because i KNOW someone wouldn't come onto these forums claiming to know information on subjects that they clearly know nothing about ;-)

Sorry im just cranky and tired and hungry and i only have enough 'medicine' for a couple games of the show and i was planning on being medicated and in virtual baseball world by now...5 more minutes hopefully!!!

Never happen, but it would be refreshing for once to hear "we don't know what the heck is wrong, we're working on it, check back later" instead of the generic politician styled statements

For me personally past midnight release buys its was always right after 12 pst sorry no pun Intended

I'm no lawyer, but I'd imagine that they can get in trouble if they say that it was 12PST all along. That would ensure a "false advertising" claim from the overzealous. They're better off playing it off as some kind of "problem" that they're working on fixing.

I know one thing, if the DL becomes available shortly after 12:01 PST, then something is definitely fishy.

They wont get in any trouble at all if they said it was actually PST.
