In fact I don't find so bad the commentary. Ofc it's not as good as MLB2k's but as I've mentioned SCEA have chosen the way of "more serious commentary" and "less colour commentary". Certainly it has nothing to do with limited system resources/last gen/next gen etc.
I think its more that they have been ok with it and concentrated on the gameplay and other features. Happy sounds like something you would be proud of. I do not think settling for less then what other sports games do in this area is something you would never try to improve on at some point.

I did not expect anything drastic with the ps3 cycle winding down. Since this year was more of a port transition to the ps4, im hopeful that in one of the future ps4 mlb the show titles that this area that sticks out compared to everything else will be improved to blend in nicely with the other qualities this series have been known for.

What have you heard to want a patch day 1?

Aguero, I know one of the things is on certain stadium(most noticeable Busch Stadium) that there are signs that are illuminated in real life and are not in the show, and that the stadium look like it has no lights at all so the crowd is dark. basically it looks like the only thing on night games that is lit up is the field. There are more complaints and disappointments that others have, This is just one I know QuietPro and myself was hoping to see a patch for.

There is usually a day 1 patch anyways. This past patch on the PS3 had PS4 patch notes in it.

Oh man I can't resist saying this... Lighting issues won't have much of an affect for me!! lol! Actually it would, I can see well enough that even I'd notice something like that when playing on my 50 inch.

It is def possible, but it is also possible that it may not be a glitch (I'm not saying it isn't I'm just saying for the sake of the conversation). There is always a Day 1 patch that's pretty much a given. What exactly it will fix? We'll have to wait til Monday/Tuesday when the servers work.

Just as an FYI, I have already downloaded a patch first time I ran the disc. It ran about 250mb

I'm doubting they will be fixing the lighting this year with a patch, there is probably bigger fish to fry on SCEA plate.

There won't be a day 1 patch for lighting. That patch is already done and certified. Lighting it that way was not a glitch and was the design intent. Doubt it gets any attention from the developers this year. Sorry, you'll have to suck it up and deal with this one.

The lighting was rebuilt from scratch. Once again, if it's ported people complain and if it's brand new and less than perfect people also complain. So glad I don't have a job so highly scrutinized by people who are never happy.

The darkness in the outfield stands and all the way around a stadium should not have been an issue with new building from scratch stadiums and lighting were added new ..

Majority haven't even played it yet and already wanting a patch lol. I'll see for myself.

That sure sounds awkward! Is this only in particular stadiums?

I was going to ask the same thing. Maybe someone can do a few night games in a few other stadiums.

Yeah so far nothing but day games. I will say, though, the Puig vs. Pence game was night at AT&T and it was perfectly lit up.

It's definitely a major bummer seeing the lighting like that in the outfield. I forgot who, but someone said it best that it looks like the fans are all in a movie theater. Weird how it would look that way, being the stadiums were all rebuilt.

Sliders is your answer bigwill, they have to make this game user friendly for people who pick the game up and ball. So out of the box things like that are a little bit flawed. After I changed my sliders to a final rendering, opposite field Homers are earned, and really rare. Pulled shots are the norm and straightaway center can be done if your on a pitch really well. I can show some examples so I'm going to do so, I'm tired of saying I've got so many videos in a vault.

and just to make you happy here's a flyout to opposite field.

And as far as this being a 2007 rehash, it is not, far from it. If you have not bought the PS3 version of the game, then you're going to be very happy with the game overall. If you own the PS3 or were using this game to justify a PS4 purchase then you're probably okay to wait.
This, Exactemundo I deleted a post I was writing earlier but the bottom line is, the resolution you get sitting in front of your tv, plus the way you have tuned your television for the game, will never be matched by the screenshots or gamecap lifted by PS4

Yeeeeeess!!! I'm a huge Angels fan & have been waiting for any PS4 related Angels material. SCEA only showed Weaver getting homered off of briefly. With that said, I'm glad they adjusted Trout's stance a bit. A little goes a long way. Everything looks great other than the rock formation, at least by PS4 standards. Maybe it'll look better on my tv, but hopefully they continue to work on it as the years go by. Fire shoots out of the rocks now for HRs so I'd like to see that next year

And your source for all these "facts" is?
