I hate to be a downer...but I was not wowed by the pics. I just paid 400 for a PS and will paying 10 more for the game than the PS3 counterpart. Do those picks look $410 better than the PS3?
In all fairness...often pics don't do it for me...Moving pics really show more. But when I compare that to NBA2k14 next gen and pics of the next gen UFC I am disappointed by comparison. Those pics to me look like a good PS3 game
This is solely due to them deciding to use the same player models from the ps3, everything else looks great, but the player models are the centre of attention and since they weren't really updated, this is the impression a lot of people are going to have, but most likely when the player models are in motion on ps4, it'll look a lot better than the ps3 in motion, hopefully anyways

Not sure if this has been suggested before but isn't the blue color on the Blue Jays throwback jerseys the same as the current jerseys? If so, couldn't you just replace the current blue with the throwback blue?
the skeletons of the player models were reused. not the models themselves so everything jerseys, hats, faces, skin, body, hair, accessories are brand new. as I take from what woodweaver meant by skeletons I'm assuming he was taking about the wire frame they used to make the players. so really your problem with the player models is really a problem with the art designers since they are the ones that create the player models. I'm sure its probably the same group of guys who have been creating the models for years so of course they are going to have a similar style or feel to them.

Exactly and no matter how crisp , clean and graphically clear they can get them they will still highly resemble the last gen ps3 builds even if flawless in motion and no not that there bad but there old ps3 models and they kind of seem out of place.
All good man. And RTTS is a staple of the Show, it's been around for years. And yes, all 3 versions are feature same; so all 3 versions will have RTTS.
Thank you both! Looking forward to this game, that mode looks awesome!

As I believe you're talking about the skeletal models, out of curiosity what do you believe is wrong with them? Proportions? The human body hasn't changed since the ps3 was released, so do you believe they have always been incorrect?

They are not the same player models. Take a look at the comparisons shots posted earlier in the thread...pretty obvious.

Yeah I know it was just the skeletons but that's why it looks really similar to ps3

Well you guys better get used to them because I highly doubt Sony is going to re due the player models again anytime soon. And personally I think the player models look great and more then acceptable on the PS4.
Hey at least they don't have dinosaur arms anymore

I was responding to your post, not Ryan's. But to respond to your new post, yes the animation rig/skeleton is the same. So in that sense, yes, they are the same as the PS3...proportional to a human body.

We decided against the tails! :-)
Regardless, this is why some people are saying what they're saying about the jump from ps3 to ps4
And there's improvements that can be made to the skeletons that would keep them looking like humans obviously, look at manny machado, and andrelton Simmons bodies last year for starters

So I guess Create-A-Troll (TM) didn't get in this year.
