They revamped the advancement system and removed the advancement goals.

So i guess it's safe to assume you won't have to worry about 3 homers in 4 series.

He is indeed.

Yep, no more books from Flynn is depressing. He was so young..it's a shame.

Thank god. The advancement goals were always kind of annoying unrealistic for position players. But it seems like last year's RTTS glitched with pitchers and I was kind of getting annoyed when my AL pitcher was getting chewed out for not hitting enough homeruns.

The biggest problem with advancement goals, IMO, was when you reached the big league club. You should be benched or demoted based on stats. If I'm hitting .340 with a bazillion home runs I shouldn't be sent down because I missed my walk advancement goals by two. No GM is baseball would do that.

I agree with this. I got pissed when I was playing my RTTS the other day. I have broken about 8 MLB records and have a .388 average over my career. I just hit age 44 in the game so I am close to retirement and batting over .400 in this season currently. I missed two goals (get a certain number of homers and touch a certain number of bases) and I got an email from the GM telling me if I didn't get my act together right then he would bench me or send me back to AAA.

No GM in the world would tell a 44 year old hall of fame bound player, who is killing it that season, that he was going to bench him or send him down to the minors. Ever.

It was not realistic or fair to have left-handers play right-handed in these positions. And if you wanted to tilt at windmills in RTTS, wouldn't you want that choice?

There are no generated left-handers, and development time invested was probably @1-2 hours.
Then the argument is that this should have been in the game many years ago.

I wouldn't have known anyway. I wouldn't have a reason to put a lefty there in the first place. Didn't even know they became right-handed at that point.

You have to remember online is usually ignored by a lot of OS writers. They probably play one game and give up on it. I personally think MLB TS is the most fun online game.

I hope they fixed this for outfielders... I recall there being balls hit to the warning track that I had ZERO clue where to run. Just from awkward camera angles. I tried OF and after a few games gave up and went back to infield lol

The new fielding camera is for non RTTS/Player modes only. Those modes use specific camera angles.

And I want to see something you could do with the money you make. Remember "The Crib" in early nba2k games? Would definitely like to see something like it;
