NBA 2K14: Patch #4 Available Now For Xbox One, PS4. Post your Impressions

2K Sports released patch number four for NBA 2K14 this afternoon for Xbox One users. No timetable on when PS4 users will get the patch, but 2K says it is coming 'soon'.

Here are the notes:

Addressed an issue where some users were unable to load/play any previously saved files.
Addressed an issue where some users were unable to properly negotiate contracts in MyGM.
Users are now able to advance to the next round of the playoffs when playing the series deciding game in MyGM.
Addressed an issue with Friend invites that was preventing some users from entering into Head-to-Head and Team-Up matchmaking.
Corrected a case where the game would exit out after the first change of possession during the Rising Stars challenge in MyCAREER mode.
Improved performance in The Park by fixing a number of hitches that would occur during gameplay.
Fixed an issue where the title would be unresponsive when booted without being signed into a profile.
Fixed an issue where the game would occasionally exit out shortly after boot when there was a large number of content update notifications queued up.
Corrected an issue where thumbnails in the MyPLAYER Store and Dressing Room would fail to appear in some cases.

NOTE: All patch fixes are intended to work in your existing game mode saves (MyCAREER, MyGM, etc.).

The patch is in Sony's hands.

They did some major work on the PSN on monday, so who knows if that had an effect on the patch's release date.

I'm all for calling 2K out with their nonsense, but not blindly. Sony would have to clarify why they've delayed a patch that they received the same time as MS did. If they say that 2K either didn't submit it, or requested it not be released yet...then by all means...bash away.

I have a PS4. I was hoping for the patch so the Saturday before Superbowl could be spent playing My Career. (both of my careers are locked up) Oh well.

2k's silence on this delay is deafening. at least throw sony under the bus or something. instead it's screenshot tweets about user MyTeam rosters and fictitious 2k tweets in MyCareer.

I'm in the same boat, brother.

I haven't played 2K [on PS4] since Saturday- I wanted to get in a quick game before I headed to work today and tried to boot MyGM up.. Nope. Error code, kicked back to the dashboard and the PS4 is asking if I want to file an error report.

I played 56 freakin' games, I had Kendall Marshall and JaVale McGee in the Top5 for MVP- McGee was a lock for DOPY and Most Improved Player and I had the Lakers at 48-8.. I'm completely frustrated with this situation.

Also downloading the patch (PS4). 13 mins left. Started out saying 25 minutes.. It has gone faster. 2426 MB.

I had a 3 hour download, I just restarted it and it was cut down to 13 minutes.

For those who care, post patch #4, PS4, the "Jordan player of the game" is still broken. No after game highlights whatsoever and don't give me the "buffer" isn't large enough BS. It's Ineptitude at it's finest.

Idk why I haven't had the problem yet. Hopefully it stays like that post patch

Not defending 2K, but I don't think they ever claimed to fix this issue in this patch. I'm not sure if they have even acknowledged the problem.

I just spent 3 hours doing speed edits and when I was trying to save, the download notification pops up and I lost everything cause I couldn't save on network. Awesome.
