Madden NFL 25 title update #2 is available now for Xbox One and PS4. It includes general stability improvements & bug fixes in all modes, including CoachGlass fixes on Xbox One.

CPB is still broken at least for me, CPB caused my game to crash at the end.

I tried that to no avail. Ultimately I had to delete all Madden files, uninstall the game, and then install it again and start from scratch. The first time that didn't even work but oddly enough I tried again but with my roommates profile. Then switched to my profile one the game loaded and it worked. I don't know if that last part is coincidental but nonetheless it took quit a while to get the game running again and I lost my franchise. Fortunately I hadn't done much with it yet. Frustrating, but all is well now(knock on wood)

After installing the patch the CPU has started to run away from Punts even when the punt isn't inside their 20.

These "patches" remind me of the pharmaceutical industry. You go in with high blood pressure and a Doctor prescribes you with medication to fix it. So you take the meds and your blood pressure seems better. But then said meds cause "side effects" which sends you back to the Doctor to get prescribed more meds for the "side effect" caused by the previously prescribed meds lol. And it's an endless cycle.

They try to fix stuff in these games (usually dumb things to like ultimate team, etc) and they may actually fix that issue. But then new issues arise because of the "patch" that seems to have nothing to do with what they did fix. How do you make a game that is playing pretty good, albeit a few flaws, release a patch and make it worse lol? It's crazy.

I still enjoy this game except for the crazy sticky fingers of the cpu defense but was hoping a few gameplay things would gets addressed. I guess we will wait and see.

How do I know if I downloaded the patch for the PS4? As expected, the process seems much different than PS3. I wasn't asked to dl anything but in the top left hand corner of the screen I did get a message window that popped up and said the application was downloaded. Is there a way to tell on the PS4 if I did indeed download the most recent patch?

SEC, what are you noticing? I have only played one game since the patch, it was a user game in online CFM, and didn't really notice anything different. Have yet to play CPU tho

Were there any patch release notes for the first update? Can't seem to find them. If this patch effects gameplay for me in a negative way, I may just delete all files and play without any patch updates. I only play offline vs. the cpu. However, I don't know if the first patch fixed anything critical.

One thing I did notice is that this new patch screwed up some of the cut scenes. For instance, me playing as the Vikings, the commentator says "here comes Matt Cassell" then they show my 2nd string safety Mistral Raymond coming into the huddle... lol.

I found this statement online about the December 19th patch. "According to sources inside of the EA SPORTS� Tiburon Studio, the update has no gameplay enhancements and just includes stability improvements and fixes in all modes, including some issues when using the CoachGlass for XBOX One." Therefore, any gameplay issues have been there before the patch was installed. If anyone does not want updates to install automatically they will need to remove the checkmark concerning updates.

I powered up my ps4 and madden it didn't ask me to download anything so I don't know if I have or not. Played for about 3 hours vs cpu, gamed played great just like it did the day before so I don't know what is going on.

This patch broke a cutscene. In any mode, Play Now or Franchise, when the starting QBs are first introduced the cutscene shows a Safety running out to the huddle in your Quarterback's place.

How'd THAT get messed up all of a sudden?!

one thing Im NOT going to like about this Gen is the loss of the ability to be selective with patches. they download and install automatically. one thing I have lost total faith in is patches, especially from Tiburon ( sorry guys im in your corner but it is what it is). they no longer smooth games out and fix issues, they fix one thing and break others, throw games out of whack, cause slider itis repeats, etc. I was one of M25's biggest cheerleaders on the 360, and I think it was partly because I didn't keep the updates and played offline.

The last patch they dropped before next gen hit made it so you couldn't get rid of it by clearing the cache and just about ruined it for me.

Honestly at a loss for words who the hell is doing QA for these patches far as I can tell everything is still buggy! Custom playbook crazy huddle glitch, graphic issues e.g ankle tape, wrong person running to huddle after QB announcement WTF!

If I could find that art director from those next gen promotional videos he would be immediately FIRED. All lies from EA! Damn ;/

so all the dropped passes over the middle by the cpu were already there? hmmmmmm.....LOL

Now you're just hating. There's nothing wrong with not liking the game but you can't blatantly ignore things. They added in True-Step, upgraded the physics, improved o-line/d-line, and made the CPU defense better.

They are obviously trying.

EA does test their games. And some of this stuff is pointed out by their testers. It's just that sometimes it gets shot down or what they called K S'ed. So they just release the game knowing the crap is there.

Finally got around to starting my CCM,and the 1st thing I wanted to see if these issues showed up.

During the cutscenes,both the correct starting QB's came onto the field,so no issues there...I also did have to punt,and the Giant receiver fielded the punt as usual at about the 14 yard line,so again...no issues there.

So for those that are seeing this,not sure what the problem is.
