I do not like this game post patch. They took a decent game and made it horrible. I can barely play it now. I am so upset that we have to put up with this same crap on a brand new generation of consoles. Nothing will change, because Tiburon is still the developer... I am seriously considering retirement from football gaming all together. Really piss poor.. That said my impressions are, don't install the patch.

These "patches" remind me of the pharmaceutical industry. You go in with high blood pressure and a Doctor prescribes you with medication to fix it. So you take the meds and your blood pressure seems better. But then said meds cause "side effects" which sends you back to the Doctor to get prescribed more meds for the "side effect" caused by the previously prescribed meds lol. And it's an endless cycle.

They try to fix stuff in these games (usually dumb things to like ultimate team, etc) and they may actually fix that issue. But then new issues arise because of the "patch" that seems to have nothing to do with what they did fix. How do you make a game that is playing pretty good, albeit a few flaws, release a patch and make it worse lol? It's crazy.

I still enjoy this game except for the crazy sticky fingers of the cpu defense but was hoping a few gameplay things would gets addressed. I guess we will wait and see.

How do I know if I downloaded the patch for the PS4? As expected, the process seems much different than PS3. I wasn't asked to dl anything but in the top left hand corner of the screen I did get a message window that popped up and said the application was downloaded. Is there a way to tell on the PS4 if I did indeed download the most recent patch?

SEC, what are you noticing? I have only played one game since the patch, it was a user game in online CFM, and didn't really notice anything different. Have yet to play CPU tho

Were there any patch release notes for the first update? Can't seem to find them. If this patch effects gameplay for me in a negative way, I may just delete all files and play without any patch updates. I only play offline vs. the cpu. However, I don't know if the first patch fixed anything critical.

One thing I did notice is that this new patch screwed up some of the cut scenes. For instance, me playing as the Vikings, the commentator says "here comes Matt Cassell" then they show my 2nd string safety Mistral Raymond coming into the huddle... lol.
