I love how defense matters in this game. On current gen, it felt like I could play perfect D and still get exposed by the CPU. I'm playing superstar simulation and I'm always rewarded for good smart defense. Great way to start NBA 2k on next gen!

I'm encountering something frustrating. I'm playing MyCareer and there have been several times when it's a close game where we're tied or just up by 1 or so, with a minute left, and the other team starts fouling. Our PG will frequently miss both free throws, when I don't think that would actually happen. I just think the game is trying to keep it close.
Edit: Also, I don't think that there should be over 8 goaltending calls per game
Edit: MAN I wish I could skip these cutscenes in my career mode

Just got my ps4 and 2k14. How long did it take to download the update for you guys? Mine says 7 hours? The update is about 2 gb.

nice to join the next generation finally. got my XB1 today and after a quick game of Madden, I got down to business with a game of 2k14. All I can say is WOW! Such a beautiful game.

Just got my copy for XB1, and to those saying this game is exactly like Current-Gen are crazy! Current Gen was good but this is a whole 'nother level of goodness! This game is ridiculously good!

User vs user sim games are crack. That feeling when you get a nice chase down block... > Nba today and real voice just bring smiles to my face. It made me pause the ps4 and think how far sports games have come... Too bad this game online lacks in customized options though.
I got it for Xbox one just played a couple of games but can already see a major difference between Current Gen and Next gen. Point guards in Current gen seem to dominate games. Next gen I really liked how the Nets would post up Paul Pierce and Joe Johnson. I never saw hardly any guards and forwards post up in current gen.
I want to play against the Lakers to see if Kobe puts up a lot of shots because in current gen they play through post up Kamen a lot. The graphics are unbelievable I haven't really dove into the game modes yet but NBA Today is Awesome.

What in the world did they do to ranked online matches? So far they've been a brick and foul fests. Terrible! Looks like they nerfed 3 pointers, cool. But why I am I missing countless perfect release/selection 3/midrange shots? Also I'm still not understanding how this online is based on user timing, yet I'm still missing A- free throws but making B-'s with Dirk. Makes no sense.

Got it for the XB1 and am loving it so far. All they need to do now is get these servers straight.
Watch how Chris Smoove goes by his defender everytime? They guard too high and that hesitation seems to be so effective. I'am surprised he hasn't called the it the hesitation cheese yet. I'am pretty sure it's on HOF and he has just started his Career so it's not like he has great attributes yet.

Maybe I am the only one but have you guys noticed that and ones are non existent. Every shooting foul is a miss, drives me nuts

I have around 6 or 7 and ones per a game. So it is definitely there in the game.
