For me it doesnt look like CG at all. The crossovers, the passing, setting up the play, the rebounding, and the jumpball catch all looks way better than CG and you can tell is really improved. Also the players look more life like with the emotions. It felt like I was watching a real nba game. The spacing seems to be a bit better as well from CG but I gotta play it to tell that.. My opinion.

Yes the camera does not do this game justice it is beautiful in person

After staring at that Melo a few times, it actually looks pretty decent. He has one of the most peculiar headshapes I've seen as from the front his face seems round because of his cheeks but from the side his face is pretty flat and his forehead is slopped

He also has an odd eye structure. I would like to know though if he was scanned because I'm pretty sure the 2k made it to NY and I see the majority of the Knicks were scanned(Chandler,Felton,Shump,STAT,Woodson, etc.)

Looks like I will be using the broadcast camera.

Meh next gen looks current gen. You guys are blind.

So Melo is insanely skinny. Is the day 1 patch going to fix muscle definition/muscle size for all the players?

It doesn't look anything like CG.

Gameplay is similar to current gen. Very good slight nuances in fighting through screens and leaning on a stationary offensive player. LOL@ Paul Pierce giving Lopez a pound.

The upper body of the player models looks a little weird.

And that Tyson Chandler lefty scoop shot was just terrible.
There are a lot of guys who are way too thin. They finally get KD perfect, and then it seems like they distributed his body type liberally to many other players. Going through these and the real voice vid I noticed many inaccuracies. Even the "normal" body types of Pierce, Melo and such looks too thin which makes their heads look big. One can only pray that these things are fixable by manual player editing.

Never thought I'd hear that said about a 2k game before.

not bad not bad im pretty excited!! D will and JJ still have those terrible shots and the rebounding still looks unrefined but besides that its gonna be a great game!! Come on 15th

lol im use to hearing that 2k players look like body builders...i can honestly say that next-gen modals don't look like body builders some look like they haven't ate in while smh

gameplay wise you can see somethings from cg but what do expect it was made by the same company lol...at least the presentation was changed but the commentary sounds the same tho

2K can go a bit on the extreme Czar....through the years that was the main complain but now its next gen I think they kinda went a bit overboard on some of the players being to skinny....lol

First year and all that and Beluba mentioning the 1rst patch fixing D.Rose's body type.....so I'm hoping that more players could be changed via patch....would be better if it were done through a roster update but I suspect it has something to do with the scanned head tech....

It used to be that Durant had everyone else's body.

To make up for all those years, they gave everyone Durant's body.

They really need to beef most of the bigs up a little around the arms. Even Lebron. It can't be that hard, can it?

Overall much better than Cur-Gen. Even the freethrow fist bumps look so much more lifelike.

Guys who need SLIGHT beefing up:

Tyson Chandler
Lebron James
David Lee
Andre Iguodala
Kevin Garnett

It's probably an all around problem with bigs/muscular forwards.

I think he meant roster update as opposed to patch. At least I hope so.
