MLB 14 The Show Teaser Trailer, Miguel Cabrera Named Cover Athlete

As announced on MLB Network, the cover athlete is Miguel Cabrera. In the trailer, Russell Ramone announced that the game will be fully featured.

Also other tidbits include each stadium featuring roughly 8x the detail of current gen, and players which are ridiculously detailed with up to 40,000 hairs modeled. Another cool tidbit is that there will be 1,000 unique fan models at each game, meaning the crowds will likely look much better than anything we've seen.

The official Twitter account mentions that you can receive $20 worth of in-game currency, by pre-ordering from GameStop. As of this posting, it isn't available for pre-order.

oh man.... i decided to skip mlb 13 cause i had still plenty to do on 12, but man o man im so pumped for this game. russell, you guys do a fantastic job at giving us baseball fans a great experience on playstation

In the video you mentioned being able to do things you've always wanted to on the PS4, but were unable to do because you had maxed out the game on the PS3. Was that just graphically speaking, or will the PS4 have better gameplay, AI, etc.?

March is a long time away (sadly). The amount of PS4s will probably have tripled by then at least.

Maybe you should reread what he posted...

Anyway, new stuff looks/sound cool. Still some stuff I'm waiting for before I decide to make the NG jump, but for November news this is fantastic.

I think NBA 2K is the best game graphically heading into next gen. With that said to be fair we saw a very limited look at the MLB 14 player model. Werths beard looks just as good as Hardens beard IMO.
