From the screen shots and videos I've seen they also still think that the stripes on the Bears sleeves are about 20 inches thick. The first time I saw a pic of the Bears uniforms I thought they were some kind of throwback jersey. The stripes on the sleeves are laughable.

most you guess are doing entirely to much, Just from whats shown in this video NG Madden looks to move mush better than CG, and this transition seems to be leaps and bounds better then the ps3/360 transition

While guys are going goo goo ga-ga over graphics in 2k14 that you'll only be able to notice in close up cut scenes I prefer to focus on whether these next gen sports games will deliver better AI, animations and more importantly Gameplay thats actually playable online. Lord knows that god's gift to every videogame , 2k, has not been playable online for sometime.
To each their own, but I could not give two craps about online.

Can we please stop posting about 2k basketball in the Madden forum? I know the game looks incredible, and sometimes we can't help but compare, but cmon it's getting tiring.

$$$

Money is the main reason in my opinion, EA markets to the casual gamer, and the casual gamer buys. Simple as that.

Honestly of it wasn't for the exclusive right's to the NFL, EA wouldn't even be making football games anymore. Why not show real videos and whats going on with all the feet videos? I feel like I'm Rex Ryan. The game always looks great on replays zooms but I never actually see this stuff in real time so whats the point of these videos? Its insane why we cant have a custom camera and play from some of these angles. EA better hope they get the rights again and corner the market or see there days fading away in this genre.

Even in real-time game play the cutaways to the fans will be so quick and so sweeping that it would almost be impossible to tell anything other than a quick visual and audio presence. The only way this is even noticeable is by stopping the game and examining every frame...let me assure you that if I stop and examine every frame of a videogame I'll find thousands of issues and problems.

They could use 75,000 cut outs of George Zimmerman for all I care...I mean I would never even know it if they did and Thats something I never would look for because it has no impact on gameplay.
I'm with you that it doesn't play a part in terms of gameplay which is agreed the most Important, but honestly this is not just a standard of the game, they are promoting it as this great instrumental feature of next gen madden that could never before be accomplished until the new hardware has been introduced. So with respect don't you think consumers deserve more ? They could have just fixed the crowd and sidelines and said hey it's part of the game of football and needed to updated for next gen no they are promoting "LIVING WORLDS" interactive sidelines, 80k 3d crowd models that react realistically to the game, sideline players which have just as much detail as players on the field. So I see why some feel they have been mislead for false advertisement.

So can this guy confirm if this is only for the RBs/Ball carriers or not? I want to see what a Olineman/LBers true step looks like.

It's been confirmed the only player who will follow true step logic are the user and CPU ball carrier and the user controlled defender. So max 2 people during a play :/ sorry for the bad news Oline does not have true step

this has been one of my favorite websites for years and just now took the time to create an account because Im sure someone here can answer this question for me...

has there been ANY news on the next gen madden as far as game modes or ANY features outside of the game play improvements?? I've read about Madden "Improvements" for years, so Im not very psyched about all that crap, Im more worried about if this will be a fully featured game. Will it include Franchise mode? Because as far as I can see there has been nothing said, please let me know if Im wrong, God, I hope Im wrong.... I feel like if this game had any kind of game modes outside of "season" and "play now" that they would have been talking about it by now, and I remember what the first Madden for 360 was like... God help us all!! lol

So the DBs won't be able to use true step in coverage or the WRs when running there routes. Only two players will have realistic footwork at a time? That should look awkward.

I'll wait and see though

Really?.......

I don't mind if visuals are off a bit, what I care about is gameplay. I have yet to hear any news about online improvement with either of the next gen systems. Perhaps I just missed out on that info but I would live to see better connections and less lag across the board.

Not saying this has or has not been confirmed but when you say stuff like this source it. This is how crap gets spread....

It is unbelievable how often people talk fact on here and it couldn't be any further from the truth. Not saying this is the case but all I have seen on the topic was the Q&A when the question was asked and the answer was "We will talk more on true step at a later date"

True Step affects the ball carrier whether it is user or CPU controlled, and all user controlled defenders. All players movement is different though and according to Simfballcritic and his time with the game, it doesn't look awkward and you can't tell who does or doesn't have True Step while playing. He said at times it felt like everyone had it because all player movement is improved in gen 4.

11 days until this game is released. Are we going to get legit confirmation of details of CFM? I know it's been said that everything in current gen will be in Next Gen, let's hear about it and see it!
Next Gen should have more as it's the base on which future games will be built.
