NBA 2K14 Roster Update Available Now, Details Included (10-30)

After releasing an NBA 2K14 roster update yesterday, 2K Sports has release another one today, which includes an update for Online Associations.

After glancing through the update, I don't see much of a change. They didn't adjust any lineups, added 2 players (which still leaves 24 players missing), moved players from the free agent list to their correct teams, as well as moved a few players from their old team to the free agent list.

Can I just say after all this talk of a new roster update system ect ect the fact 20 players are still missing shows that 2k still is just terrible about rosters.

I think that was for NG versions of the game.

The way I understood it, was dynamic rosters were for current gen as well, with STATS updating. They made it sound that way anyway, if this was some fancy talk by them and its not true for current gen then they owe some people some money back. They were talking about this during current gen stuff, so if this was to get people confused to buy their game cause of thinking that the incompetent fool the 2k insider wasnt doing this stuff anymore then I definitely wont be happy. 1 reason I bought the game was thinking updates would be better atleast on the ratings side of htings. I suppose that fool is still the one adding players to the game though which stinks.

Pretty sure that was a current gen developer insight or whatever they call em where they talked about their new roster updates and how they would be the best ever.

Thank you, cause thats exactly how I heard it too. They were pretty secretive up until recently.

Going to be another disappointing year if these rosters are the same BS that the 2kinsider has done in the past. Amazing how a guy dont do his job and yet still keeps his job all this time

Main reason why I bough the game was because I thought this stuff was going ot be done better this year. Then again I guess the joke is on me, to actually think this aspect would improve. I should have waited to buy the game and thats on me and know one else, cause 2k hasnt always been the most honest company, not quite as dishonest as EA but still I should have known better.

First off, I'm the exact opposite. I hate to play a season/association without correct rosters and accurate ratings, which means that getting a 2K game is incredibly frustrating and I end up spending more time fixing rosters/ratings then I do playing. However, to each their own.

That said, there is still a good chance that these 23 missing players will see rotation minutes and a couple may even start, so it should matter to even the casual gamer.

I'm still baffled as to why they kept him instead of Diogu. I read that Dolan wanted young players at the end of the roster. But its obvious he was kept just because his bro is JR Smith.

you're not old school, you're a casual gamer. And people like you are the reason 2K doesn't give a **** to accurately update the rosters. They don't care about people who want an actual simulation of the NBA.
And if you've never heard of those 20 guys, it's your fault for being ignorant about the league, there's no reason that people who care about them should be penalized.
