NBA 2K14 Roster Update Available Now, Video Shows Full Rosters (10-29-13)

Just in time for the season to tip-off tonight, 2K Sports has released another NBA 2K14 updated roster this morning. The embedded video shows the entire roster for each team, including the list of free agents. Another update should arrive in the next day or so, reflecting opening day rosters.

With that said, The Real 2K Insider has posted details on the roster update. Only 5 players received a rating update, 1 player was added, 25 players are still missing and 13 players are on the wrong team.

Not surprised by this one bit....2k insider is still around so expect 3 players to be added at the end of the season...

Sad but true. I dont know why they keep this incompetent fool around, but they do. He has been complained about for not doing his job since they started these roster updates. I was hoping things would improve with the fool not having to do ratings anymore and just putting players in the game, but its not looking to promising once again this year. Yet they will keep a guy like Maurice Evans in the FA pool when he has retired along with James Posey, which makes no sense what soever. There is no excuse for the rosters to be this far off to start a season. Heck some guys are even in the FA pool when they should be on teams, like a Rasual Butler and Donald Sloan who are on the Pacers. Lets hope the next update has things right, but Im not holding my breath with that idiot still emplyed by 2k to do rosters.

Gonna go ahead and preempt the usual banter that goes on here...after the first half of Magic/Pacers, I DEMAND that Andrew Nicholson get a sizeable boost, corner specialist, and a much higher 3-pt rating.

Honestly guys I am not sure why anyone would be shocked at the LACK of effort out in the updates. It has been the same for YEARs. It sucks for guys who depend on 2k Updates for their ability to play their Associations.

bottom line is the rosters will always be inaccurate and late and the servers will always suck. dont make excuses for these guys. its been like this for the last 5 years and every year same story

I think thats what STATS will be doing, and thankfully not the 2kinsider. From my understanding that is what that company was hired to do, ratings and tendencies. Probably wont see much change until there are 5 to 10 games into the season is my guess. Obviously right now were dealing with the incompetent 2k insider ratings, or I would hope so anyway considering how bad some of them are and sig skills. I hope its not just tendencies that STATS is doing, but atleast that is something I guess if thats all they do, its one less thing that the 2k insider can mess up.

Yeah I'm waiting on STATS to kick in...I really hope that the tendemcies being updated will be the only silver lining for these 2k insider controlled rosters....

Wow... I think it was just marketing fluff to sell copies of the current gen. 2k is being put on notice. This is one area they could definitely lose sales in if the competition gets this right.

We as consumers still have to put up with incorrect rosters, missing players, etc. UNACCEPTABLE...

Well see how NBA Dribble '14 handles their rosters...I really hope they wake 2k up in that department with their effort...

STATS can only do that much if the actual players aren't even in the game... How is their system going to react when they try to edit the STARTING CENTER of the Boston Celtics?

I never relied on 2K's rosters to start an Association, and neither will this year.

they waited until after Reggie Williams got cut to put him on the Rockets. lol. I wish I could be this terrible at my job and still rake in the checks year after year.
