NBA 2K14 Roster Update Available Now, Video Shows Full Rosters (10-29-13)

Just in time for the season to tip-off tonight, 2K Sports has released another NBA 2K14 updated roster this morning. The embedded video shows the entire roster for each team, including the list of free agents. Another update should arrive in the next day or so, reflecting opening day rosters.

With that said, The Real 2K Insider has posted details on the roster update. Only 5 players received a rating update, 1 player was added, 25 players are still missing and 13 players are on the wrong team.

So once AGAIN VC drops the ball. Sadly, not surprising.

It's extemely irritating that they remove players from rosters for injuries and yet are unable to add in the guys who replace them.

If you're going to have "Live" rosters then do them right. Otherwise leave them the hell alone.

Did they at least get rid of the knee high socks for D Rose? I mean really, who dropped the ball on that one?

They fixed that sometime in the last week. I noticed that when I noticed Dwight Howard was in team coloured adidas sleeves on the quick match screen.

i'm hoping that vitor faverani (likely starting celtics center) and phil pressey (likely rotation guard for the celtics) aren't in because they haven't physically played in a regular season nba game yet, which means they aren't eligible to be added yet. i'm not sure how that differs from heralded draft picks like kelly olynyk, but i'm going to hold out hope that once fav and pressey get some official nba burn on wednesday, they'll magically pop up the next day on a roster. 2k should really find a way to automate this process. sure, the ratings should be automated via STATS, but how about something that at least puts a vague version of the player in game.

Lol it's like better than nothing as OA don't have any roster updates so. We once again have witnessed how can their marketing is better than the substance itself.

Where is that thing calleD 'Dynamic Rosters' yea i see...

The Wolves are missing Hummel and AJ Price but have Chris Johnson and Otheus Jeffers who were both cut doesn't make a lot of sense.

Not to be that guy but Stephen Curry and Andre Iguodala currently have mismatched knee sleeves.(one is white, one is black) This should be pretty easy to fix.

No Gal Mekel on the Mavs. He only signed a 3yr contract in the off season smfh. And please FIX THE MAVS COURT!!! They are the only team That did not get a court update last and here we are with the same ole ish this year. I had hopes that 2K would get it right this year, but I see it's the same.

So whats the thing about those injuried players like kobe and westbrook, they are listed as out for 8-10 months, but we know they will come back sooner.
Does this carry if i start a new association? Like will kobe be out of the season in my association??

I know this has been asked and wondered millions of times, but I wonder why 2K couldn't be a little transparent about the process, with someone stating their roster inclusion rules once and for all... or at least piece by piece. For instance, I think it'd be pretty cool and informative if someone could just say flat out, "The rules we must follow state that a foreign player who's signed with a pro club is not eligible to be re-created and included in our game until they've signed guaranteed contracts and officially appeared on an NBA roster for longer than two weeks during the regular season."

It'd be nice to understand the process.

that's right, there are a lot of players loaded on the disc but hidden, and only hex editors can make them free to use.

The fact that "real nba 2k insider" actually admitted that players are on the game disc and hidden, I think a movement should be in the works that anyone that has bought 2k14 for either current gen or next gen gather together and DEMAND that 2k unlock/unhide EVERY player on the game disc or lower the price of their game because for $60 and us to be LOCKED out of things that we just paid for is totally unacceptable.

25 players missing from their opening night roster update? Really, that's sad...my team's roster set not only has those missing 25 players, but also ALL the Euro team players and ALL the training camp invites and ALL the free agents...more then over 300 free agents in our free agency pool...

Hey 2k, if you want ACTUAL rosters with ACTUAL contracts/salaries, hit me up and maybe for a good $$$ I'll share them with you.
