After watching the whole thing. I wondered a few times if the other team had a user controlling it. The cpu plays with a better sense of urgency. Every possession had a nice flow to it. When the user ran that play, it happened so fast I didnt have time to catch it setting up. I'm excited right now to this game looks really good. Still i saw some clipping issues and I dont like the way animations on the sidelines when a player has the ball looks, but overall

Looks like you're not stuck into animations when you're near a defensinve player as the ball handler. He doesn't have to press turbo to get into a jogging rythm again.
I think they've changed the sound of the rim.
I liked that miss pass by Lebron after that spin.

How unrealistic can this mode be, CP3 - Lebron and Howard? They all joined, meanwhile CP3 and Howard have signed 5 year deals so we are or should be talkin about them joining up in 2017-18 which isn't the case.
Then we got 3 ""max"" deals with CP3-Lebron-Howard meanwhile you still got Faried in your starting line up who will get at least 7-10 million a year when his next deal is coming up.
Credibility = non existant.

Yeah that's what i was thinking, how the hell would they have got Faried as well as 3 max players. The knicks also don't have most of their contracts off the books until 2015, yet they sign Lebron in 2014 when they are into the luxury tax? What?

Hopefully next gen wont be full of the same fantasy style of gaming that it is now becuase I wont be able to take it. I need authenticity for me to enjoy this game.

So because there are fantasy modes within the game... the whole game now = fantasy.
NBA teams are still there, association mode is still there, season mode is still there, online association is still there, online modes are still there... all of those are non-fantasy modes... but the game still = fantasy only.
Upgrading defense = not real basketball
Upgrading pick and roll defensive rotation awareness = not real basketball
Re-tuning and balancing gameplay to be more competitive = not real basketball
Gotta love OS.

Instead of getting a better Association Mode this is what we get, unbelievable.

So just because they've only released a little bit of info on Assoc. mode that = nothing done to it? If they've fixed some issues with Assoc. mode wouldn't that = better?

I'm sorry that I refuse to accept mediocrity when I've been supporting 2k for 14 years. Madden for the first time since 2007 brought back a legit Association Mode and also improved on it by including Connected Careers.
That blows 2k's Assoc. Mode out of the water. cthurt said it perfectly, I'm done with this just wait for it crap, either have a great Franchise Mode or I'm not buying. Even MyPlayer has been meh, a lot of potential but meh.
If I could sum up the Association it would be fairly simple, 2k gives us a oil change when we need a new transmission.

I think it looks very well made. Not much of a LeBron fan. Not sure if I'll try it. Kudos on making a great looking mode just doesn't excite me that much.

So when was the last time 2K had a good Assoc mode in your opinion? Are you going to give them the same amount of time that you did Madden to come back with a 'legit' Assoc. mode? 6-7 years.
CCM still has major issues within it, just visit the Madden forum here and you'll see.
No one is forcing anyone to buy anything.
As for the oil change, ya I agree in premise, but not everyone can afford to buy a new tranmissions especially when the one they have isn't broken, just old and sometimes replacing the transmission in a 'old' car, doesn't make the car better necessarily... if your looking to buy a new car with a new transmission, new paint, new bells and whistles, just wait for Next Gen.

That said, I still understand the gripes. People can take things to the extreme a little (such as saying a game is completely fantastical with no real life base), but sometimes there's some truth in there somewhere. As it stands, I get it if the offline simulation/replication crowd feels a little left out on the feature front.
I mean, video games are inherently altogether fantasy. But I think there's a fair amount of folks who like trying to experience a fantasy that's at least loosely based in reality. And for NBA fans looking for that experience, MyTeam, MyPlayer, Crew, Online, and Path to Greatness is probably not going to provide a lot in that regard.
