Game comes out in 3 weeks, less screenshots more insights.

Thanks for this.

But I honestly don't see the point of releasing these current-gen screens. It's almost as if they're trying to not really hype the current-gen version, but still release something just for the sake of releasing it. At least if there was something to analyze about it, but there really isn't.

Nahhh...it's very different. Iguodala is wearing a Warriors jersey, it's totally different.

I'm sorry, are these screenshots supposed to impress me or something?

I mean, they're showing guys who literally look the same as last year, outside of being on a new team in some cases.

This made me laugh. I guess some news is better than no news.

Not impressed, still. The blue... Its just needs to be a shade darker. Its like NYK in this game.

EDIT: yeah. Needs to be darken. From the NBA Store.

Show me Chandler Parsons because he looks like an alien for the last 2 years

Yeah, I'm kind of curious what their overall plan is here. It surely seems relatively plain and clear that the impending next generation release is affecting the release of news about the current generation game.

It's funny, I was not a fan of the mega over-hyping of small news bits leading up to the 2K releases of the past few years. But this year (this is going to sound picky) the release of information has been incredibly underwhelming. I can't help but get the feeling that there's just not a ton out there on the current generation version worth expanding on.

On the bright side, Andre is wearing a white sleeve, so hopefully that's another sign that accessories have received some attention.

I think we saw him in that Harden signature get back video and he had that same ugly face.

I guess the advertising budget went to the next gen version of 2k14. So I guess they are prepping to go head to head against EA advertising for Live.

2k's color palettes (for NBA 2k) have always been off. It's like they all work on non-calibrated monitors or something.

The jerseys look a lil bit more detailed but the colors are still off.

Same iggy from previous 2ks

Still waiting for something to convince me to buy this game. Hopefully the demo increases my hype meter. Which is at 0 at the moment

When are they going to talk about my career? If it's anything like last years I wont be buying. I'm sick of getting bored with it after season 2, they need to make storylines and drama it just seems like a a bunch of things bunched together with no real meaning except playing game after game. and at times it seem like your player don't exsist at all.

He looks good. I don't see what people were expecting as far as him looking any different. I'm tight with money so I'm going current gen until I can't stand it no more.

Its due to NBA live having licensing over the jerseys or something

I don't think thats it.
We were taking about this subject a couple of weeks ago. My theory, which I don't know is correct or not, is that the teams have copyrighted their specific tint of color.
Someone mentioned a college football team who had given their color a name and copyrighted that specific color scheme and my guess is that its the same here.
