Who is to say there wasn't any contact? Looked like he was kinda reaching around someone.
My problem with LeBron dunking over people is...LeBron really never tries to dunk on people. I'm sure there are a few examples but he almost always lays it up whenever he expects contact.
Now he can jump OVER people. Lemme stop the overzealous person about to post clips of Jason Terry and the other guy whose name isn't important. I'm aware of that. But posterizations in general? Not really LeBron's style.
Are you guys referring to the dunk near the end (I just skipped about in the video)? If so, I thought that one looked alright. I was expecting some 2K13 stuff where a defender was standing 10 feet in front of the hoop, stood his ground, and was pushed backward in mid-air. But if it's the one near the end, there wasn't a ton of action there to warrant him not performing that animation (which seemed like a half dunk-on animation as is).
And yeah, I also liked that little lefty layup with the foul by LeBron about a minute in.
My only gripe is seeing Danny Green drive to the hoop, and not getting stripped, while finishing with his off-hand. On next-gen, 2K needs to make it a priority that specialists feel like they actually are specialist with their weaknesses and all.
Other than that gripe the game looks solid for their last big effort on current-gen consoles.
You'd wonder if it was at all possible to have some sort of individual player slider where it has player finish handedness % that exists completely independent of a player's shooting hand.
Where you're in the middle and you can go either way to finish like LeBron or Kobe, so you'd be in the middle of the bar, 50-50. You're a rare breed like Jrue Holiday where you're more likely to finish with your non-shooting hand than your shooting hand so you might be more like 70-30 to the left. Or you're one handed. Almost never finish with the other hand even under duress so you're like 99-1.
I loved the contact on Lebron early in the video. Not too worried about the dunk, im sure with the proper tactics it could've been stopped. It was probably a lower level.

In this case, seems more to me Wade/user's fault: simply, he did not defend against Green.

It wasn't one of 2K13's pushaway dunks. He actually reached over and had the space. Hopefully higher difficulties make that harder.
I'm with you on that dunk. It at least appeared possible by physic's standards, so that's big. As you said, I'm glad it wasn't one of those pushaway dunks, which is what I was thinking when I first read the comments.
The post game looks awesome! Player movement and contact looks on point. Dribbling looks smooth, and players are missing shot's they actually should, and I was glad to see the Kawhi Leonard's missed 3 in the corner, the fact that I thought it was going to go in and it didn't made it more realistic to me. Overall, I like the look of the game, and it seems like they really improved the little things that may not get the glory, but really make a significant impact on the gameplay.
Like I say every year, wait until everybody gets their hands on the demo before yall decide your verdict on NBA 2K14 current gen. Then all the questions will be answered and you can finally decide if this solidifies a $60 dollar purchase or is this just NBA 2K13.5. I'm actually interested in the post game, if Post hooks, and fadeaways can be usable again, like in NBA 2K12.
