I don't really use classic teams a lot but this is still a cool feature that I'm glad is going to continue.

I am hopeful for some classic team additions this year. They're one of my favorite aspects of NBA 2K at this point and I really like the teams they have now, but at least a little bit of attention and improvement would keep things fresh. Maybe even just adding more retro uniforms would help bridge the gap.

Cool. May I request the Jail Blazers? Always liked playing with Sheed, Z-Bo and Co. back in the day.

Hoping for some mid 2000's teams.

i agree don't use them too often but its always nice to see classic teams on the game tho, i mean when me and my friend get tired of using the regular teams every once in a while we would play with a classic team.

And for the love of god please update their playbooks and player play types. Those made the mode unplayable and unenjoyable until changed last year! Plus each team only had like 15 plays each and 10 wouldn't work for CPU.

Great decision to showcase this confirmation, as a lot of people think it's still up in the air as to whether or not they'll be included.

I'm ecstatic that the classic teams remain. Hopefully 2K has added some teams, but if they haven't, I'm still satisfied that they're there. I use them a lot during the season, and exclusively during the off-season.

Good news. I hope they keep who/what they had last year, would love for them to add more teams but just keeping what they had would be nice. I doubt but hope somehow they get Dr. J and Kareem back on the game. Adding Reggie Miller would be nice as well.

Teams I would still like to see added...

1978 bullets
1979 sonics
1986 rockets
1987 jazz
1993 suns
1998 Knicks
1998 pacers

Not worried about it though as roster makers do a great job creating teams!

Getting Webber back would be ideal, too. That '02 Kings squad is highly ineffective without him.

Dope!! I still hope they add era filters from 2k12 as an option.

Those would be some great additions. And I know this is likely hopeless, but I'm kind of wishing 2KShare would be a little less finnicky in 2K14, allowing for roster transfers akin to 2K11 and 2K12. So many conditions seemed to result in a freeze this year and I know that was likely by design, but I feel roster creations should be embraced, not limited. The subsequent lack of depth really put a damper on replay value for me this year.

I hope for as many classic teams as possible, caus then we meight have more legends in myTeam, which would be awesome. That would also give 2K the opportunety to have more young versions of players in the myTeam gamemode, which would be awesome

-1970-71 Hawks
-1985-86 Hawks(add 89 Hawks)
-1997-98 Lakers(add 2001 instead)

Wasn't it already confirmed that classic teams would return to 2k14?

They should get rid of the 70-71 lakers and keep the 71-72 lakers that team won 33 in a row and a title. I agree that they should replace the 98 lakers with the 01 lakers that's team I would play with. They should replace the 84-85 Sixers with the 83 title team. Then of course add the 93 Suns, 00 Pacers, and the 04 Pistons. Also they should bring back the 91-92 Bulls and replace some of those other Bulls teams.

I understand the '72 Lakers removal (since another Lakers team from the same era is already in) but I thought it'd be cool if it could be replaced with a prime Wilt 76ers squad. It'd also be nice to see the era-specific courts and backboards return for those teams.

Ha, I wouldn't fight the inclusion of the debut Grizzlies and Raptors ('95-'96) just because it'd be novel and fun (with crazy courts) but man, those squads were... something else. People would just be clamoring for that Zan Tabak/Acie Earl Twin Towers combo.

Yes, but I think its affirmation was kind of tucked in the corner or a random thread. A lot of people didn't catch the discrete memo, hence something semi-official.

God I hope they get Reggie miller this time around

Next Gen Michael Jordan is all I care about. Next Gen Allen Iverson too, just because he was the face of 2k for years and deserves his recognition.
