Which Fixes and Tweaks Are Needed For NBA 2K14? Post Them Now For 2K Team-Up

As most of you are aware, 2K Sports has selected their 2K Team-Up participants. Here is a list of all of them.

Quite a few of them have accounts here at OS and some of them wrote NBA 2K13 hands-on impression articles for us last year, after the event. Most of them have confirmed to me that they will be doing the same for us this year. So, this is where you come in.

The 2K Team-Up guys have their own list of questions they are going to ask the developers, but what are the fixes and tweaks you would like to see in terms of gameplay for NBA 2K14? Please be as detailed as possible, to be sure your question will be asked.

We invtied him out - he couldn't make the trip.

As for suggestions, feel free to leave them in this thread even if you are not attending, I'll pass it over to the dev's. Just because a great suggestion can't be implemented in the short term doesn't mean the team won't look at it for the future.

I mainly play My Player so I have a few suggestions for that mode.
When we sign a new contract with a different team there should be a press conference showing us with our new jersey and asking us why we chose to sign with that team and what can we do to turn it around the same when we are drafted.
If its our last season let me have that last game atmosphere and get a standing ovation like MJ did at the end of his career with the wizards. Also maybe see our jersey being retired and maybe when we win a championship I want to see the banner being raised
Now this suggestion would take some work and probably wont be in for a while when we retire let us convert our player into a Coach. We can be an assistant coach or head coach and coach in the D League and the NBA if there are any positions available we can set the lineups schedule practices and speak with the GM.

Add tech fouls, flagrant etc.
Not just clear path fouls on a rare occasion.

So many times I'm on a fast break and the guy I'm playing will foul someone intentionally in the back court.

Gives me side ball instead of a tech

Please also fix all the NBA Today online sync mess ups:

Wrong team reported as winning.

Inconsistent weekly and monthly player and coach awards. Half broken in 2k12, completely broken in 2k13.

Just a suggestion but they should also mention all star selections both at half times around the break and in game post break. Maybe even all star snubs.

Oh and how could I forget:

Please fix charges! CPU rarely commits a charge, and the charge card sig is useless. The only charges that happen are with half court charge cheesers online. This should not be.

Also, tone down the momentum mechanic! On the bad end of a momentum shift, your players are unable to complete even simple passes at times. They completely lose their minds. This also opens up sig skills and ratings for composure, experience, veteran savvy, core fallback skills, etc. that should determine how individual players respond to momentum shifts. I've detailed how it could work elsewhere. Momentum should be more complicated than "everyone sucks at everything now".

How can 2K have a 'community team-up' and not have Chris Smoove? Ridiculous.

Also, nobody from OS? Meh, prepare to play a game with many flaws.

1) Having the ability to go straight up and contest w/o fouling, even if you jump (Ex: Roy Hibbert) Maybe a rating or tendency associated with that.
2) After in-bounding the ball, my AI in-bounder sprints the floor which ruins the Simulation fatigue experience. Please fix.
3) Is the AI going to get an adjustment? (something like Forza's Drivatar)
4) Post moves improvement: good post-players have a go to move. Great post players have a counter and so on.. Ex: Kobe/Dirk are unstoppable in the post.
5) Double team logic is terrible and they double when you have like 12 points in a short-span, so maybe they will work on that.
6) Association mode should be updated just as rosters are. I hate starting an association and a major trade occurs that I can't fix because I am only user controlling one team.
7) Accessories: I hate going into edit player every time I go from a home game to an away game. Surprisingly, EA Sports does a good job of this to where you can edit uniforms pregame. That would be AWESOME!

Passing. The animations are too slow, the speed in the air is too slow, the catching fumbles are too exaggerated and occur at nonsensical times, and the logic of which passing animations happen in certain situations is very poor. Its more chance than skill. I'd like to know of any improvement in the passing game this year: animation speed, in-air speed, catches, animation logic, and if there are any user-controlled additions like the ability to input an overhead pass.

To the team-up guys: I know you have a limited amount of time to play the game, but give us some info if the major issues have been improved upon: Overpowered dunks, defense, spacing, passing, AI boxing out, and Parmesan moves like the up and under. Last year the game's issues were hardly mentioned. We'd like to know more about these things than the flashy aesthetic stuff like foul animations. I'm sure the 2k devs wouldn't mind if there is some criticism in the videos you make.
