They should of added D-League teams. All the great Euro players are already in the NBA.

If this is next gen then they have the space and them some and more some and extra some to keep classic teams and add this.

Rudy Fernandez #5 Real Madrid, I'm stunned about all these teams for 2k14. I love European basketball.

Very true vtcrb..Nothing official from 2k yet so I'll hold out hope. I said a year or two ago though that these classic teams while awesome, can prove to be a VERY EXPENSIVE feature as you are negotiating with each retired NBA individual in order to get their likeness in the game. This was not something I envisioned going on long term at 2k. You never know what the retired superstar or bench/role player will ask for financially. It can be a tough endeaver. Live has said they will have classic teams in 14 so 2k may have to compete with EA financially for these guys. We know EA wants to get back in the game and I would not be surprised if EA bid for exclusivity on these players/teams to take a pound of flesh off 2k. All speculation on my part though..............

If its not incorporated with association and MyPlayer I'll be disappointed. If I start an association with the Bulls I should have the draft rights to Nikola Mirotic, he should be a trade asset as well as the usual draft picks 2k leaves you with.

In MyPlayer it would be cool if you can start off playing in Europe and then you declare for the draft and join the NBA.

If 2k brings back the D-League they could do a lot of cool things in MyPlayer mode. And if College Hoops ever came back you could have so many different career paths.

As many have said, it needs to be incorporated into association or it won't mean much. Along with the summer league, d-league, being able to protect draft picks, future real life traded draft picks on the correct team etc. And able to to trade picks 5 years in advance instead of 2.

Dude, since we don't have college hoops, it'd be cool to play overseas and enter the draft when you feel ready, maybe you have the option after 1-4 years to enter. Hopefully this means the Olympics are implemented into My Player and Association. And hopefully the Olympics venue will change every 4 years like in real life. Which reminds me, they need to have all-star weekend move around the country as years go by in Assoc. and My Player.

Is this the end of classic teams???? I hope not, it's a trade off I wouldn't be happy with.

Oh my goodness, that would be incredible. If we could make our player 17 years old and start a career in Europe, aahhh! That would just be incredible.

If classic teams are not in the game, there is zero chance that I`ll be buying NBA 14 this year. I will stick to GTA V all year long.
The thing about that is they were relatively silent about classic teams going into the release of 2K13. They didn't confirm anything about classic teams until some screens were released showing some of the legends.

Why would anyone think this is the end of classic teams? I'm sure that 2k wouldn't add these teams to gain a larger European audience and then lose it by removing classic teams For me, 2k will always be the basketball video game franchise ever, and I'm sure they'll prove you guys wrong

No need to even speculate about that since there's been no mentioned neither for nor against classics.

lol, you COMPLETELY contradict yourself in this post. Of course there's a need to speculate about it, PRECISELY because there's been no mention either for or against.

I'm sure some of the folks on 2K twitter have been inundated with tweets all day asking about classic teams. Like dude said above, complete silence on the topic from them is a bit unsettling. Me personally, I could give 2 craps about Euroleague teams. I understand that some ppl are excited, but those ppl are few and far between. Like has been said, they can't get ratings for NBA players right, and we're supposed to believe that they know anything about the players overseas?

Let's just hope that they fix what's wrong with their game, and not put their main focus on some teams that most ppl probably won't play with more than once or twice for curiosity's sake.

I think the fear is of 2K viewing currents, classics, and Euros as a little bit of a full house. We'd be looking at almost 80 teams on 2K14 if the 30 currents stayed, the 30+ classic stayed, and the 14 Euros debuted.

Perhaps 2K could go the route of "what's 14 more?" But it also seems possible they'd opt to change directions and slide away from the classic route. But then I've heard MJ would be returning. My hope is 2K will address classic teams directly prior to the release of their game. Last year, I'm not sure they were ever touched on until the very end of the cycle (if that).

My point is; this is the first info total we have gotten. Why not concentrate on this before talking about what may or not be in the game?

I don't see how I could've contradicted myself when I just stated a fact.

Give us players more options in running a franchise!

Yes I agree with everything you said. Players should get better ratings experience confidence etc while I am playing in association.

This photo looks like they added some new animations for the paint. I don't think 2K13 had anything like this where the defender is trying to avoid contact. Of course this is done to not send the shooter to the line for the blocking foul or not get in a poster you know you have no chance of blocking or stopping. If they add the verticality contest that Hibbert and Asik does the most you will really be able to defend the paint.
