Is this only part one or the entire thing about CCM ?

I would assume there have to be more details for this that will come out. If its not said by june 10th (e3) or at E3 then I would assume its not in the game.

At least I hope there is going to be more info at E3

Unless I skipped over it, I didn't see anything about a player editor during a franchise. Sure hope that is still in...

I'm curious if the team name choices vary by location because both Beats and Dodgers are totally Brooklyn but if you changed the location would you get new team name and logo options?

I'm totally stoked this is back, when I was younger I moved the Denver Broncos to Portland, OR and became the Portland Brewers but could only use the Shamrock logo and be referred to as the "home team"/ "away team"

This is so much more thrilling.

"Can't wait to ruin some poor franchise by trading for Tim Tebow and signing Mark Sanchez to a $40 million contract extension."

I read this somewhere and just died... lawl

I think the names are tied to the locations. If you look at the Dodgers photo there it's also for Brooklyn, so I'm guessing each city will have at least a couple different options. The reason for the pre-determined names and cities is to allow for the commentary to account for them instead of referring to the teams as home/away team.

Everything sounds cool and all but I'm admittedly underwhelmed, hopefully the next gen news tomorrow will peak my interest more.

It's a smart move. It hinders creativity but it will be programmed to make your new team feel more natural.

There are 3 names to choose from that depend on which location you choose.

You can relocate to one of 17 currently realistic markets such as L.A., Mexico City, Brooklyn, Toronto, and London (complete with city-specific commentary). Each will foot the relocation bill to varying amounts. You can keep the team name or select from one of three that the fans have already picked.

Yeah, definitely. I remember moving the Chiefs in Madden 06 and I HATED how they were always referred to as the 'home/away' team. I'm really interested to see how this plays out and if CPU teams will relocate. I would absolutely love that.

Is offseason logic better? It damn well better be, because franchise wont be great until then.

In owner mode...do coaches matter? Meaning, does it affect your teams play at all...or are coaches just a name with no real impact?

These questions will need to be answered...and the right answers....before I consider buying the game.
I didnt play Madden 13 much but I thought they added that feature back. Am I wrong?

No announcements on CFM presentation elements, a HC09 wear n tear injury system, player morale/chemistry, off/def coordinators, pregame formation subs, mass substitutions, contract holdouts, etc? I know I can't be the only one wondering about this stuff. Don't get me wrong, I am not knocking Owner Mode, it's just seeming like, at the moment, this mode is the big reveal and the other incomplete areas of Franchise mode, that have been incomplete this entire gen, still are.

I just can't imagine them spending the bulk of time and resources on a tricked out Owner mode, with tons of depth and nuance, without fleshing out general Franchise mode.

The bold is what I am also wondering about and also restricted free agents.

seems like theyre on the right path..however we need way more details. im gonna remain neutral...this is EA afterall and ive learned my lesson this gen. i like the owner mode but will it be deep? will it have any REAL effect on your franchise or is it just window dressing that really has no impact? thats what im more worried about since EA always adds stuff thats good in theory, but horrible or negligble effect in execution. if i screw up my team and lose the fans support or mess up prices for tix and concessions, will it even matter?

i hope they take the kiddy gloves off and allow things to have real world impacts and cause failures if things arent done right. im tired of them catering to ppl with no attention spans and ppl who cant handle failing at something. we need risk/reward in place in all our actions in the franchise or this is gonna be another boring romp with new window dressing. guess we'll see when its in our hands.

oh yea thank god we can finally have a place to see transactions for god's sake. kinda scary when u think that the guys who are in charge of details and immersion can miss something so glaring isnt it?

I told myself I wasn't going to buy Madden this year, but all of the info coming out about Connected Franchise has sucked me back in. Amazon will be getting my money this summer (NCAA 14 & Madden 25)

pretty sure they'll be showing off the new tech which will form the basis of all their EA Sports Games on next gen, which will hopefully be complete natural physics and realistic movement...

So while we won't hear much specific stuff with regards to Madden, EA will show off the capabilities of the new engine relating to established franchises.

This all great an everything that we are getting some features back, but what about PLAYER MODE/SUPERSTAR MODE. How many more years is this area of the game going to be neglected. Hopefully its addressed next year. I am still waiting for the nfl combine, mini drill games, an nfl draft presentation show, and agents to come back.

They are are listed here.

Oklahoma City is one of the options.

Not as many as I would like, but it is still a good list of cities.

Doesn't make sense but I hope thats the case... if this was both blogs combined I would be rather disappointed.
