Wow so bad!! What was up with the Leasean McCoy juke back? It's so unnatural. The Calvin Johnson hurdle wow just bad, Arian foster stumble and hitched stumble? How so many thing is wrong in a 30 sec clip? Wow just bad. But don't have a choice and have to buy this garbage game cause of my love for football. Once again thanks EA for not giving a Damm for those buying the game. I guess I should learn by now.

Happy For Barry Sanders....sad for the Madden Franchise. This video did nothing to make me feel like Madden 25 has made progress. Those running animations.....and that RGIII spin.....wow. It hurts to watch.

Hey you guys want to know what Madden 50 is going to look like? Just like this as long as EA has Exclusivity.

I say "Run To Daylight" revisited, repackaged, re-marketed for resale!!!

A wise person once told me.....

Yeurrgghhhh I know this is still a work in progress and the game is not finished yet but that trailer was gross!

I'm intrigued to see if the new jukes are mapped onto the left stick, thus removing zig zag running. There should be no way to stop on a dime and zig zag run without having super high agility, acceleration, elusiveness and juke ratings. If these moves are all on the right stick and the left stick movement remains cheesy, then they just wasted their time developing the new running moves.

'Run Free' will not exist if they have not completely eradicated zig zag running and the unrealistic sliding movements.

As has been stated everywhere, the running animations really need some work too. They've always been bad but if you're going to highlight the run game, make sure that the fundamentals work well and look good before you release a trailer, work in progress or not.

There will be no more mentions of NFL 2K or 2K Sports in this thread. This is the Madden forum.

Focus discussion onto the trailer, please. Thanks.

My thoughts on the trailer:

Meh.

I want to see raw gameplay footage; the new feature write-ups sound great, but this trailer doesn't really give a feel for how the new additions impact the user.

This trailer is so indicative of this company and its blatant ineptitude. 8 years of HD console gaming wasted. I'm done with EA and their products. They must think I'm stupid...

I also don't get how EA removed the Deion Sanders high step from the game? The animations for celebrating as you run have been appalling and unchanged for SO long.

The highlighting of the feeble one arm raise in this trailer should be embarrassing for EA. I mean really.. If you're gonna make a video full of arcade moves that are designed to fool the brainless masses... Why don't they put a new glossy celebration in and showcase it in the trailer?

Would actually make sense... Which may be asking too much.

At this point, sizzle trailers do absolutely nothing for me. Wake me up when they show actual gameplay.

The real funny part is that a bunch of people saw this trailer before it was released and was like "yeah, that'll get them ready for madden 25!!!" lol. They are right about that tho. Cause I AM ready ........ ready for another year of disappointment. Having said all of that, I already have Madden preordered lol. I can complain, but I gotta stop kidding myself. As soon as preseason games start again, I'm gonna start getting that itch. ** sigh** I am so weak. SMH
Fight the urge, I haven't bought a Madden game since Madden 08. It becomes really easy when you realize you saved $60 yet another year to put towards an actual good game.

Holy crap that looked like absolutely garbage. Nothing looked like human beings. It was all robotic, prescripted animations. Just flat out stupid.

At this point, 2k doesn't even have to be the one developing a football game. It can be ANYBODY cause Madden is the same crap.

Drop the 2K talk. Not the place for it. Please continue bashing Madden.

# 59 loccdogg26 @ 04/24/13 11:22 PM
And RGIII still has on those awful Adidas cleats. Where did EA get those from?

That's exactly what they think. They just want your $ and hope you're dumb enough to buy the same crap.
