O.S.

Okay...Finally the time is here!

In the Vault: O.S.F.M2013 by RidinDwnKingsley

Thank you everyone for your patience in regards to this year's release.

We had one hitch towards the end....and I (we) are hoping that everything is alright with that one member.

That being said... I have to say that this year's group of editors have put together a tremendous effort with this year's version of the O.S.F.M.

I want to thank each and every member participating on the chart and from the work thread... but there are a couple of guys who I just have to mention, that went above and beyond with their effort and support.

yanksdaniel99 picked up quite a few teams that were vacant as we got into the process. It was a big help with him setting up those clubs.

Throwback and Willard76 went above and beyond to help out with multiple teams to work on faces (Willard on top of rating 2 teams as well) and especially down the homestretch when it was getting very tight

... and last but CERTAINLY not least... RidinDwnKingsley who rated multiple teams... as well as doing ALL the exporting and importing of every player for the set AND testing the set for balance.

Thanks to O.S. as well... Steve for allowing us to use the O.S. name in conjunction with the set and the mods who I'm sure dread when this time of year comes around and they have to keep the peace... and keep the threads moving and productive. They do a tremendous job.

Guys... I can't stress enough how I want to thank each and every guy who participates in the process... not just the guys doing the editing (who do a GREAT JOB)... but also the guys who provide input in the multiple threads.

Every year I am more and more impressed at how well this site works together to make this happen.

If you really think about it... it's a truly impressive process.

On that note... I'm going to ask you to think about how much time and effort these guys put in to making this work... and in doing so, deserve a certain amount of civility and respect when commenting on a particular part of the work. All feedback is welcome... as long as you present it in a civil manner.

That's all any of us ask of this.

Again... thank you for you patience and enjoy the O.S.F.M. 2013 Edition!... and

Enjoy The Show!

M.K.

I believe it just includes updated MLB and minor league rosters as close to Opening Day as possible. Equipments and motions are not until the next V2 from someone else.

Correct....
But Totte did do some adjustments.
I don't know if he has a list or not.

The list is basically what you can find in the first post of the Official Appearance/Stances/Deliveries thread

Knight,

Two corrections that have been posted on the corrections thread since you started on V2:

Col Rockies - Lars Davis should be 27 years old, not 20.

White Sox - Hector Santiago should be a lefty

# 908 Cole416 @ 04/13/13 10:57 AM
This is probably already answered but why is Carlos Correa not even a top fifty prospect let alone even 60+ overall.

The Angels backup catcher was "invisible" behind the plate. Very strange. This is in v1 of the roster set.

After you finish the best division in baseball, what is next on the list AND do you need any help with it?
Thanks Knight for all of your service at OS but especially for your service outside of this community.

What is the bug with the 25 man? I'm almost 40 years old with a wife, two kids, etc, I don't have the time to put into editing like I used to, but I want realism. What can I do to have correct rosters, for single season gameplay, without putting in a mountain of time editing?

Thanks!

The bug is that if a guy with multiple years on a contract is not on the 40 man roster when you begin the season/association that they lose the rest of their contract. But since you only plan on playing one year this will not affect you

Thanks. So, if I download these 25 man rosters, I don't do anything except blow through Spring Training and start my season? All the minor leaguers are where they should be, lineups solid, etc?

The minor leagues and lineups won't be correct until the version that Knight is currently working on is completed. And then Hustlin will probably create a 25 man roster and upload it to the vault and then you will be good to start.

# 916 fantasysportsguy @ 04/13/13 01:56 PM
So I will have to make the lineups right on the CURRENT downloadable 25 man, so a bit of work involved still. That is ok I guess, setting lineups isn't too time consuming.

This is a known bug that happens at times in FastPlay mode. To work around it, pause the game go into any replay, then leave the replay and return to the game and the player should be there.

Great rosters guys just a random question, is there a reason Rj Alvarez was left of the angels roster? Hes by far the best relief prospect aside from maybe moronde, and he could be up as soon as the end of the year. Just a little suprised he was missing.

Hmm... probably just an oversight, I know he was on the list of players I sent to the guy who did the Angels info/ratings, should be a B potential...

Also for Knight/Ripner/anyone else, was Michael Clevinger's repertoire addressed? If not here's what I would put:

RFB 64/54/52
SL 58/56/46
CIR 12/47/48
CB 67/38/45

Plus these changes:

Stamina 70
H/9 32
K/9 47
BB/9 42
Durability 54
Arm strength 43
Arm accuracy 45
