O.S.

Okay...Finally the time is here!

Thank you everyone for your patience in regards to this year's release.

We had one hitch towards the end....and I (we) are hoping that everything is alright with that one member.

That being said... I have to say that this year's group of editors have put together a tremendous effort with this year's version of the O.S.F.M.

I want to thank each and every member participating on the chart and from the work thread... but there are a couple of guys who I just have to mention, that went above and beyond with their effort and support.

yanksdaniel99 picked up quite a few teams that were vacant as we got into the process. It was a big help with him setting up those clubs.

Throwback and Willard76 went above and beyond to help out with multiple teams to work on faces (Willard on top of rating 2 teams as well) and especially down the homestretch when it was getting very tight

... and last but CERTAINLY not least... RidinDwnKingsley who rated multiple teams... as well as doing ALL the exporting and importing of every player for the set AND testing the set for balance.

Thanks to O.S. as well... Steve for allowing us to use the O.S. name in conjunction with the set and the mods who I'm sure dread when this time of year comes around and they have to keep the peace... and keep the threads moving and productive. They do a tremendous job.

Guys... I can't stress enough how I want to thank each and every guy who participates in the process... not just the guys doing the editing (who do a GREAT JOB)... but also the guys who provide input in the multiple threads.

Every year I am more and more impressed at how well this site works together to make this happen.

If you really think about it... it's a truly impressive process.

On that note... I'm going to ask you to think about how much time and effort these guys put in to making this work... and in doing so, deserve a certain amount of civility and respect when commenting on a particular part of the work. All feedback is welcome... as long as you present it in a civil manner.

That's all any of us ask of this.

Again... thank you for you patience and enjoy the O.S.F.M. 2013 Edition!... and

Enjoy The Show!

M.K.

Def a small sample size but he also absutely dominated against big league competition in ST this year. Even going into the draft a lot of scouts said his changeup would be one of the top 5 in baseball right now. The Cardinals seem to have the consensus #1 ranked farm system and a couple of the rankings had him as high as #2 on the team (even ahead if Shelby Miller). No doubt he gets a chance at some big league action this year.

Definitely the spring set, OD set will have accurate lineups and rotations across all levels.

Don't know if it has been mentioned yet but Yasiel Puig is a switch hitter in the rosters.

So excited these are finally out, great work guys.

Hey guys, one of the placeholder players was left on the Mariners, please replace "Robb Polk" with "Rich Poythress" (in the vault, username seanjeezy).

You hear scouts praising all sorts of players though. It's just talk until he proves it against high level competition. I think if they wanted to give him such an aggressive overall he should have been given B potential personally. I don't see him striking out as many batters as King Felix this year.

The Show simply isn't complete without OSFM...it's as simple as that for me.

Massive thanks to all involved, as ever, incredible job.

Not downloaded these yet due to being in UK but just about to and spend a whole day playing!

Great job guys, I just played a tiny part in this and all the respect in the world goes to the ratings and faces guys.

Great getting everyone's feedback too.

One thing though, regarding overalls I doubt everyone would be saying ' I think X prospects redbar is a little too low or high"

I know overalls are a big part of CPU selection etc but in my opinion OVRs are the bane of sports gaming.

Another thing is remember ratings are subjective, undoubtedly not everyone will agree. I'm sure in real scout meetings there is debate all of the time about guys and heck I bet there were a couple of scouts that thought Harper and Trout might not be so good.

Anyway thanks again everyone and unless any major roster incident I shall most likely be AWOL for a good 6-10 months!

Still, Taveras having a higher overall than Profar is completely understandable since he's more big league ready and a better hitter. Also, fantastic job on Wacha and Maness. Personally I would have had Maness control a 99 but nothing that can't be edited.

Couple weird things in the roster though. Slowey should have way better control. Scott Kazmir's picture is pretty bad, and a lot of players don't have the correct service time.

I wish I saved a screenshot of SCEA's Harper last year before they used OSFM's, he was terrible.

Also, Knight next year I would like to help by donating five copies of 2014 Baseball America Prospect Handbook, if there is a demand for this. Thanks Again
