Pre-Order MLB 13 The Show From PSN Store & Download at 12:01 AM EST, March 5th

MLB 13 The Show is a "Day 1 Digital" game, which means if you pre-order from the PS Store, you can start downloading a digital copy of the game at 12:01 AM EST on March 5th.

As a bonus, if you pre-order from the PS Store you will receive an exclusive theme for your PS3 XMB menu screen and an extra 120 million for your Franchise budget.

At the moment, we only see the MLB 13 The Show Day 1 Digital pre-order available for the PS3, nothing on the PS Vita.

Exactly..I don't get why they can't let you download the file when you buy it, and then activate it at 12:01

Hot on PS3, then MLB13. There is a "DOWNLOAD NOW" button on the splash screen for MLB 13. Then it took me to the 3 downloads for the game after they were in my cart.

Edit: And I'm in the CST.

Yep, it's live. For now the only way to get it is to go into the store to the day 1 digital section like you did for the pre-order, it's not showing up in download lists yet.

It's broken up into 3 downloads - the main game at 12 GB, the additional content at 10 (this would be the game data install from a disc), and the online pass.
