It hasn't happened at Target Field yet, but that's probably because they don't deserve any bounces. Anyway, some of the best baseball games in MLB history were played at the Dome. To me that at least qualifies it to be somewhat classic.

I'm really happy these stadiums are all free now. This was the year that I was actually going to breakdown and spend the $5 to get them.
I hated when the Tigers played there more than any other stadium for those very reasons. The home field advantage was unbelievable. Which, makes me say, it's not a classic stadium because it was ugly and I hated it with a passion.

2009 Game 163 might have been the game where the bounces showed up the most. The Dome had to give us one more parting gift. I think Sox fans were happy to see that place go as well

All these were in the game last year...glad to see they're free this time.

That game doesn't exist to me anymore.

I would love to be able to play in old Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium. Really sucks they can only do 10 classic stadiums. But so glad they're free this year.

That game was one of the best games I ever saw. But even us Braves fans were glad to see that place go. The Braves played 10 games there and went 2-8 with most of the losses being by 1 run.

I know it'll never happen due to rights fees, but I continue to yearn for the old Tiger Stadium.

What's that?

For free?

Would love to play in the old Astrodome. That's the one I wish would be included one day.

How are they going to add the worst stadium ever built, HHH Metrodome, and yet they have NEVER put Old Comiskey in there? Who doesn't want to hit roof shots like Dick Allen used to? It seems to always be the usual stadiums every year, let's see one of the OLDEST ballparks in history, Old Comiskey!

HHH was from the old builds of MLB09 and before.
SCEA does not have and are not likely to ever get the licensing for Old Comiskey.

Russell said, unless the licensing process changes, there will be no new Classic Stadiums.

What no Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium?

So many classic moments... Okay not really, would be nice though if they added it in a future game.

Just stupid. Hate the fanboys acting like this is sooo great. Paid for these same stadiums 2 years ago, so they should be free.

On top of that its been these same stadiums for years now. Either remove classic stadiums or at least add some new ones to play in each year. I want old Tiger stadium, old Giants Stadium, CN Park ect.., you know give them a generic name if your too cheap to pay for the rights.

Classic in this sense means there were pretty much classic moments in the stadium OR that they are super old. The metrodome was home to two of the greatest world series' and that isn't even arguable.

Of course it is a pile of **** and will be torn down soon but that doesn't negate the feeling any less. All of the old stadiums are crappy as far as build and infrastructure in real life.

I guess its just part of my childhood to miss the old cookie cutter stadiums (Fulton County Stadium, The Vet, 3 Rivers, River Front). Some day it would cool to have several classic stadiums like the Astrodome, Milwaukee County Stadium, Arlington Stadium, and Cleveland Municipal Stadium with the Marlboro Man in Center Field.

It's cool SCEA put in the old stadiums for free and now with the 1942 Cardinals uniforms int he game, I'll pay tribute to Stan the Man Musial and have the Cardinals play a few games in Sportsman Park wearing the 1942 uniforms.

...and stadiums that were in the game before a new one was built(Yankee and Shea).....are just put into the "classic" section instead of them making a separate section for those in the game.
The "real" classics are those that had the lock icon on them.

Maybe you should read up a bit and educate yourself on this subject before making such loose cannon comments.

Considering that it was Steve_OS and chrisjohnson(OS member) who are just stating this piece of info....and it's not from SCEA being touted as a feature....why all the hate from that guy?

Someone is always bitchin'.....unbelievable.
