Cant get him unneeded boost just to get his overall up
I did say his rating was fine i was just making a point that if he was from a big market team he would be rated higher. I'm fine with him at a 68 but it should be treated the same as a player from a big market club.

Harrison Barnes needs his dunk rating higher, its at 74 which is way too low for him. David Lee is at a 75 dunk which makes me LOL because hes higher than Barnes

I'm mostly happy with his ratings. I meant that I'm surprised he wasn't raised more due to being "the hot player" of the Pacers and being named to the All-Star team.

The only thing that I would like to see done is that they add lockdown defender to his signature skills and change his hot spots.

Nice to see Bargnani/JV finally added back to roster.

Did they edit the rookie/sophomore(aka shaq/chuck) teams to have the guys actually in the 2013 rising stars game on those rosters?

It's been there the whole time,in 2k12 it was missing.

Funny part is they prolly didn't upgrade Orl C Vucevic. Or lance Stephenson or Gordon Hayward which just shows me that 2k only pays attention to major teams in the league. I mean look at NYK and the LAC and their super stacked and ovverated teams. I mean there is no way imman schumpert. Has done anything to deserve a 80 something overall. Glad my team is in a major market
Shumpert's strength rating is the main culprit, his other ratings are not too bad.

Don't get how someone can be pulled from an update...What was the thinking behind that. Did they make him, and decided to not release him in the update or something.

Not that I care bout him(or any of the guys missing from the list), but just makes no sense how a sports game can't add a guy who has already been playing in the league for many games already.

Pulled from update = saving himself embarrassment

This is sad, first time in years I can't even get into a Twolves Association, there roster's been off almost all season. I guess with all the injuries, maybe I'm expecting too much this year

so they still havent given earl clark a 3-pointer yet?

# 51 Rockie_Fresh88 @ 02/13/13 09:48 PM
Earl Clark

I think a 75-79 3 pointer is good enough

Rebounding needs a boost high 70s? Just little bumps here or there . Nothing to major .

But he's definitely been putting up decent numbers over the last month since starting .

# 52 Angel_G @ 02/13/13 10:26 PM
Lol he just made a stupid excuse you can't "pull" a guy from the roster

# 53 ClevelandFan @ 02/14/13 12:54 AM
They just don't care, simple as that. No competition, they have a monopoly for basketball games.

So tired of this cliche statement about competition.

I can't even play this game anymore because they severely underrate my favorite team and the players on my favorite team while highly overrating other teams *cough* Knicks *cough*

Sadly my interest in 2k is fading quickly.

# 56 ksuttonjr76 @ 02/14/13 10:43 AM
Changed my mind...maybe they should upgrade Paul George just a little bit more. Rebounding, Passing, and give him the lockdown defender. After his single digit scoring against the Nets, he came back real strong against the Bobcats...triple double.

In last 10 games (including the Bobcats game), he's averaging 19 PPG (which is pretty high given that Indiana is 28th in PPG), 8.0 RPG, 5.1 APG, 1.9 SPG, while shooting 41.2% from the field.

# 57 DBMcGee3 @ 02/14/13 11:06 AM
Jimmy Butler baby!!! If they're only gonna change 2 players' ratings, I'm glad he was one of them.

Why? It's the TRUTH. Just look at Madden. Same thing. No competition equals complacency.

Ive already had his Passing up a little in my season. Havent touched Rebounding, and already gave him Lockdown Defender.

I wonder what his rebounding will look like when he shifts back to the 2 when Granger gets back.
I agree. Passing, Rebounding, and Lockdown Defender would be the only things that I personally would change. I would expect his rebounding numbers to decrease, since he will have to "stay home" with the opposing SG. However, Stephenson is averaging 3.8 RPG while playing almost 10 minutes less than George, and Stephenson is no where near the capable rebounder like George is.

No...it's not the truth. When people make that comment, it gives the impression that 2K Sports has the blueprint to the "perfect" basketball locked away in a safe somewhere, and they're giving consumers a "taste" of that blueprint one year at a time. B.S. The developers work on hard on this game every year.

The only thing that a monopoly allows a company to do is experiment with new gameplay ideas without the fear of losing their market share. IMHO, if NBA Live was still around, I truly believe that 2K Sports would have continued to build off the NBA 2K11 engine instead of experimenting with all this stupid live ball physics and stick control. Of course, comparing NBA 2K12 and NBA 2K13 to NBA 2K11, I would have been perfectly fine with them deciding to build off NBA 2K11. However, if they learn how to combine the pros of NBA 2K11-NBA 2K13 before the next generation of consoles, then it WOULDN'T matter if there's competition, because the competition will have too much to catch up too.
