Another NCAA Football 13 title update arrives later this month. Check out the details below.

FYI, the Dynasty fixes should take effect in existing Dynasties. No need to start over.

Gameplay
  • Fixed issue where running the no-huddle was taking too long.
  • Fixed an issue where players were sometimes not breaking the huddle.
  • Fixed it so receivers won’t slip as much on the turf when it is raining.
Dynasty
  • Fixed it where prospects were softly committing to schools even though they were not on that school’s recruiting board or showed any interest.
  • Fixed some recruiting logic where CPU teams were not offering scholarships to some prospects.
  • Fixed an issue with uploading highlights to Dynasty Wire.
  • Made the sorting on the Recruiting more user friendly so that it remembers previous sorts.
  • Fixed an issue where a prospect with low interest was getting changed to “N/A”.
  • Fixed an issue where some Online Dynasties were losing players and coaches.
  • Fixed a problem where promises were getting deleted.
Online Head-to-Head
  • Fixed a reporting issue where if someone went offsides three times it forced their opponent into a loss.
Stability
  • Increased the stability of the product by fixing various crashes.

How about making it so I can actually USE all of these fancy new uniforms in an OD game. User v user games in OD's do not load or work if one of the teams is wearing a uniform pack uniform set. Which is just insanely stupid.

As long as they fix the freezing issue I am happy. But know what F them anyway. This game came out in July, its Fn October. By the time this patch comes out it will 2 months after the last one. Screw them, here an idea test the game and release it later. A few patches during the first month maybe second I can deal with, but in moth 4 that is a disgrace. The real college football season is at the half way point and they still have a Sh*t product out.

This patch should come with a free voucher for next years game after the 2 products they have put out the last 2 years.

This can be fixed. Raise the awareness of the lineman and FBs. Heck I raise the awareness of all of my players. If you don't wanna do that try maxing out all of the sliders, as it is clear they not only unlock animations and player abilities, they also increase player awareness. Max out all sliders except: Tackling (leave it at 50) HUM Pass Cov (100) CPU Pass Cov (0 because it seems to be reversed) INT (70) WR Catch (70). If the catches are too high reduce the WR Catch slider.

You will notice all of the players playing better and also more animations. You will see pulling guards cut blocking LBs on counter plays. You will see WRs holding blocks downfield. You will notice a big difference.

Try this on AA and Heisman.

I bet the DB Glitch gets fixed somehow, but not listed - they just don't want to give me the satisfaction that it's very important to get it FIXED.

Easy way to avoid db glitch is to not call streak plays. Sucks sometimes but 2 guys on streaks should not be called in a play just hot route it.

I don't have a problem with run blocking though I mostly call draws so I can slide the line.

No, the solution is to play on Varsity with Fist's sliders. However, some want to still play on higher levels without having to handicap ourselves. And the DB glitch doesn't just happen on streaks, it's not about play calling - and it's also not about the CPU doing it. The DB Glitch happens our safeties/dbs as well.

Cool they've done this new update. Unfortunately for me, there is nothing I can see here that I actually care about. Actually, I suppose the stability issues and the dynasty fixes cleaned up things behind the scenes, so thats a good thing. Thought we would get a little more meat though, some **** that can actually be seen in game in your face.

This is a huge issue, I agree. Might be too big for a patch, though.

This really took me by surprise. I wasn't expecting to see anything out with this game other than uniform store additions.

However, i haven't played much game lately. I started a OD game last night for the first time in a while, but ended up shutting it down, i had to go to bed.

they need fix how corners and safties are always getting beat deep for long touchdowns passes all the time.. the no huddle fix is good an everything but the deep coverage needs to be fixed badly

I mainly do coach mode, my safeties don't get beat much. I use a combo of sliders and have it on heisman. My corners get beat if I tell them to play press. When I actually play I always use the safety so I don't notice it with my players. I don't go deep often anymore. I tried the varsity thing but I don't want to lessen my play because the cpu offense is still weak.

I haven't found a work around to the glitch except for playing varsity and then that has other problems like getting the AI offense in full gear.

It's sad that even playing on Varsity with Fist's sliders still doesn't fix the glitch. I tried them in my Maryland dynasty and beat FSU with 3 td's from the glitch

I'm a mountaineer fan and watched buie slice Texas because they wouldn't give in to the two deep conservative safety play. They were going to pressure with the front four and not get beat deep. Texas has incredible talent in the front 7. West Virginia has a great offensive line. Something had to give. I don't want to continuously see my safeties beat deep like this game portrays. Terrible glitch.

Only thing I can guess is that a patch can't fix it. They couldn't fix it out of the box, sold a broken product.

Kudos for putting out one mote patch.
You'll see that glitch rear its ugly head from time to time even on varsity, it needs a fix. Hopefully they can save this game...we'll know soon enough.

Hey guys i refuse to take credit for this information because I got it from a guy here (forgot his name), but before you start a game try lowering the accuracy of both QBs to there real life QB percentage.

Test:

We all know that the QBA slider does not effect the accuracy of thrown passes in the game much, if at all. No argument there. IMO this slider effects QB awareness and I am certain it effects the amount of catch animations we see in the game. First max out both QBA sliders to 100.

Now we can change the accuracy of the QBs in the roster edit screen. I use last year's Comp percentages if they started last year. If they are a first year starter I put them at 55 by default.

Seth Deoge - QBA changed to 69 due to 2011 comp percentage

David Ash - QBA 58

This test made the passing game feel a lot less predictable, especially if you have a cold, rattled QB or if he is being pressured. Catch animations also opened up. More jump in the air, stretching, and diving catches were observed during this test. This in turn helps with the safety glitch because deep balls are less automatic. You will have to dink and dunk because intermediate to deep passes are not always on target.

If there is no fix for the Safety Glitch this could be the only hope for those who want to continue on higher levels. Will test with some teams on my edited roster tomorrow
