I'm hoping people won't be able to just spam the isomotion and get free shots.

So do I man. That's the cost at making things more "accessible". It normally turns into monkeys being about to do advanced moves. But, hey, you got to improve the user experience, right?

However. However!!!!!

For the love of basketball...when - WHEN! - will they fix the frickin' layups/dunks? Specifically - watch the play that happens at about the 5:10 mark.

Kevin Durant, open, wide open, on the way to the basket. What does he do? Reverse lay up from about 3 feet away from the basket. DUNK THE BASKETBALL! The ball is actually swatted by a defender and it's called a goaltend. What the hell man? Fix this nonsense already. Seriously. Fix it. Fix it fix it fix it.
That was frustrating to see. I don't necessarily think they should dunk every time, but that definitely was a prime situation for a dunk. He should have at least layed it up on the left side of the hoop either off the glass or via a finger roll rather than bring it around to the front of the rim.

The Iso by Gay has me concerned. I see a cheese fest with any dominant wing player. Just a simple iso and the cpu didn't adjust at all

And as for you not liking the game, I didn't say that either. I was just covering the bases of my last statement just in case. Read it again.

All I'm saying is that these videos are put out to enjoy and to evaluate. This is obvious. But it gets to a point where "evaluate" to some becomes only "critiquing". And that's a buzz kill frankly.

What you said about rebounding is important. We've seen a LOT of videos so far. Have we really seen the old vertical issue that often? I don't think so. Does that mean its gone for good. I doubt it. But the issue seems to have been addressed noticeably and that's a good thing, right?

And I agree about the irrational hate of 2k12. That game was a victim of expectations.

Its a a buzz kill for you, do you see how many people ignored or did not respond to his comment? Do you understand why? He's entitled to his own opinion, feedback is feedback 2k never said dont criticize and obviously some ppl "only" do that which I dont see him doing.

The only reason I'm responding is because some ppl just come on here to pick a fight and try to check somebody like their going to stop ppl from stating their opinion. We all Men in here cuzz (I assume LOL)let bruh have free speech you'll be ite LOL.

As for gameplay I like what I saw probably the best gameplay I've seen so far.

From watching that video, the one and only noticeable difference from 2k12 is the menus. The gameplay looks 100% identical, right down to the atrocious layup animation choices that force you into a trailing defender instead of dunking on an open rim. Sigh...

That commentator seemed HYPED! when calling the game.. thats what im talking about....step it up Clark Kellog

Definitely not in the mood for nitpicking, but I dont think Rudy should NOT be able to continue to dribble, just be less effective over time doing it

Steve Francis is an example in the playoffs vs the lakers where he kept dribbling through his legs and doing shakes... Gary Payton stopped guarging him and just stood there and watched him, and Francis dribbled enough to get his legs tired so his jumper was flat.

That's a consequence of over dribbling along with turnovers, but not like you forget how to dribble.

The point of the statement was that it seems people ONLY want to criticize. That's it. Do that, but balance it. There's nothing wrong with telling the devs what they did wrong and reaffirming what they did right.

I find it ironic that I'm being preached to let people have their opinion after I express my own opinion. So, no disrespect, but I don't retract anything I said.

I'm hoping that happened because the difficult level was super low. We'll see once we play it...

@2:33 We can substitute players on the fly. I'm glad it's back.

Edit: actually I'm not sure if that's substitute pop-up. Can somebody confirm?

And you're 100% wrong here. "come on here to pick a fight"? Really? Talk about being sensitive.

yeh have one LOL have another LOL. So now you know I could care less about an opinion because what I was doing was just letting you know that you were being sensitive because someone else had a simple opinion that you didnt like.

I'm not mad I'm just letting you know how you look

Even after watching this video, I don't anticipate Iso Motion being overpowered. This seems to be the 2k of counters and Strategy, so it looks like 2k13 will give us a variety of ways to defend against a player like Rudy Gay doing 10 crossovers in a row.

An example of this is the pickpocket signature skill. Pickpocket SHOULD be key in 2k13, if people like Rudy Gay are able to handle the ball in this manner. Being able to steal the ball from ball handlers like Rudy Gay during Iso motion moves will make the game much more realistic than it has been in the past. As long as the ball is more easily stRipped from a player with low ball security ratings as opposed to someone with high security.

Increased chances of a steal depending on how the dribble was executed. Heavier shot penalty maybe. Rudy Gay did spin into the defender and not around him. Maybe a lack of animation to accommodate for that was the real problem. It was like the spin and following layup just ignored that the defense was right in front of him. They really need to address stuff like that. Other than that though the footage was good.

I'm questioning whether you've played 2K12 right now. I'll just chalk that statement up to "hyperbole".

I have no idea what they're saying but the Spanish commentary team sounds fantastic.

I'm guessing they're well known broadcast guys in Spain. That's great effort on 2K's part.

Kinda wierd because I woudn't want to have the comentary in any other language than american. I'am french and I would just hate to have some known french guys comentating a NBA game. Doesn't make sense to me.

Not criticizing 2K effort at all btw, I'am sure there are plenty of spanish people that will enjoy this.

I've read somewhere that the Spanish commentaries are gonna be added with a DLC, but I don't know if it's gonna be available for every markets. Btw, it's nice to have Spanish for Latin night games, but don't expect similar accents to those you are used to in the US at all. Spanish (from Spain) accent is really different from Cuban, Dominican or Mexican ones.
