Nice additions overall, but I have a question for users.

Does MyPlayer lose any immersion, because Draft Combine, Pre-Draft Workouts, Summer League, Training Camp, as well as the D-League, were removed.

I ask because these elements aided the development of your player, opposed to the Showcase, etc.

The only way to be absolutely sure is to play it ourselves, though. If I'm running to the rim and stop in place so some dude can start blocking me out? I mean coming to a total stand still from a dead run into some inescapable box out? I won't be pleased.

But it doesn't LOOK like that's the case. The rebound animation is new as well.

I'm excited for this mode again. Last year was kinda disappointing and I didn't really touch My Player. I hope this is as fun as it looks.

I would love that they get all those things back, in NBA2k10 I got dropped to the d-league during training camp and did spend almost 2 seasons there before I got a 10 day contract.
I liked it better when you started as a scrubb , because you had to do the little things to earn your points, a lot of setting picks etc instead of jumping in and be a star directly.

Can we please get some voice options for the love of all that is good and holy!!!

You really needed those things to get better considering you used to come into the league, what? Like under 50 overall sometimes? Come in as a point guard who can barely dribble a ball or shoot straight.

I can't understand how people feel cheated about this. I remember i did all that(except for the D-League) which took many hours and by the time i finished i went from a 61 ovr to a 65. Yeah it aided alot (/s). The current system is good enough(we don't have any type of college game to import from) because we start out as an actual nba player who can come in off the bench and contribute right away. I don't want to go through a grind to get in the league as this is an NBA game not a D League game. I understand your argument though but I personally don't agree with it. To each his own.

Only gripe is the rookie showcase. I still think it's ridiculous, but whatever. I'll get over it.

My Career looks to be really well done. I'm super excited about this mode. I love the animation when Ronnie drove to the basket on the Iso.

I wish they still had the combine, training camp and summer league though. I wonder if we can sim any game can we adjust sliders. Anyways....

This game can't get here fast enough!!!!!!!

I personally prefer developing my player in the D-League/Summer league as opposed to just the rookie showcase. It added more layers into the game that I appreciated.

My Career looks absolutely amazing to me. The only thing I would've wanted them to make sure they got in was Olympic integration. I swear Smallz said something about it before but maybe i read wrong?

The gameplay/graphics look really fresh compared to 2K12. Can't really say what it is, but it definitely looks updated.

How do we upgrade our skills from now of on, because you earn coins now instead of XP's? I hope that system hasn't changed. Or is it going to be "10 coins for +1XP" ?

I like that you get a reponse from the coach but I hope it doesn't appear 100 times a game, once or twice is enough. And the "+1 coin" for making a FT or +2 for a dunk is kinda annoying, not really needed. In the end I can still see how many coins I made, right...

Pretty sure most of the footage we've seen from the dev's insights are from the PC version wich has better resolution than console version.

I remember people complaining that it too way too long and was too boring to get to the NBA when those were a part of the mode. It is probably why they were removed.

IMO, yes it does. The draw back to the Combine, Summer League etc. is it's a longer process for those that want create multiple players or start their My player over.

I didn't mind the process at all and it brought a sense of realism to the mode.

Yup, all you saw was it's too much of a hassle to go through the Draft Combine and Summer League, and people were complaining about getting sent to the D-League with a sub-60 rating, like they were supposed to get a spot on an NBA roster because they were a 1st round pick.
