The Madden NFL 13 rosters for week 1 are available now for download. Just a reminder, these are Play Now (offline/online) rosters. The updated rosters for Connected Careers arrive early next week.

AND i cant update my own rosters to take into CCM so im stuck with the original rosters until i want to fork over $10 just to update my rosters!
THis is unbelievable on Microsoft and EA's part.

Are you sure its always been like that? Im pretty sure on older maddens i have updated my rosters with no need to have a gold account.

Quick question if anybody could ansewer

Can I download this and play all modes with the updated roster offline?

Like I see it says the roster for cc is out next week but if I'm playing offline can't I just download this one and play offline cc?

No, you'll have to wait until next to use the new roster update for online and offline CCM.

Sooo, Rod Streater was 2nd in the league in receptions and ran with the first team most of the preseason, but Donny Moore doesn't think he deserves a few extra points. If anything give him the 2 extra points he needs to be 4th on the depth chart which he obviously is. Hell, at this point with the way Jacoby Ford was playing before he got hurt, I'd say he is more likely 3b. I know it's only 2 points, but hell I like accuracy. Personally, I'd put him at 69 or 70 at least, that's just me tho. I might be a lil biased.

Glad to see Jabaal Sheard jump from a 74 to an 83. He should have been around that high from the original roster.

Brandon Weeden still has a beard.

That's an asinine statement. It's not the $5 a month that's the the issue. It's the $60 one time payment. If you are like alot of people, scraping by and just saving up enough to buy just the game, it's hard to justify forking over an extra $60 for a service that you might hardly use because of job, family and other responsibilities. think outside your over privileged circumstances for a moment.

I think it just bug the hell out of me when people complain about that crap, the 360 had been out 7 years and it hasn't changed.

After playing early release of NHL, Madden screwed the pooch this year. NHL managed to apply the new physics engine and overhaul AI all at the same time. The Devs at Madden should be sweating that NHL and FIFA don't slaughter them and put them outta work.

If you update through the game you still have to have gold? I thought you need the gold for DLC stuff and early demos.
