That's an asinine statement. It's not the $5 a month that's the the issue. It's the $60 one time payment. If you are like alot of people, scraping by and just saving up enough to buy just the game, it's hard to justify forking over an extra $60 for a service that you might hardly use because of job, family and other responsibilities. think outside your over privileged circumstances for a moment.

I think it just bug the hell out of me when people complain about that crap, the 360 had been out 7 years and it hasn't changed.

After playing early release of NHL, Madden screwed the pooch this year. NHL managed to apply the new physics engine and overhaul AI all at the same time. The Devs at Madden should be sweating that NHL and FIFA don't slaughter them and put them outta work.

If you update through the game you still have to have gold? I thought you need the gold for DLC stuff and early demos.
