NBA 2K Hairstyle Disasters

Players come at sports video games from a lot of different angles these days. You can run a fantasy draft and make the dream team you’ve always wanted. You can try to take your favorite team as-is and do your best to better them. You can play with friends or strangers around the world. But ever since I can remember, my favorite part of any title has been designing my own player to draft onto my favorite team or (more recently) run through a game’s career mode.

And since the beginning, the NBA 2K series has been disappointing me with its hairstyles.

We should also be able to adjust the hairline. Some of the hairlines are way to high, like Lebron high.

I wish this discussion would have came up immediately when 2k12 launched then maybe we'd possibly witness some changes for 2k13.

as soon as it did it would have filled with comments about its not about gameplay its not important 2k shouldnt spend their times on dudes hair who cares about hair its a video game.

The whole create a character on 2k is horrible...it really does not allow for much creativity and individuality.

Especially those tattoo's, some of them I just can't see. Weird neon colored things. What the hell?

Hairstyles they should add:

360 Waves
Proper Minifro
Untied Long Dreads
About 5 different part types
A Harden-Esque Mohawk
Scruffy fro not that ugly "Twisties"
Buzzcut with designs all over the sides
Hi Top Fade
Regular Fade
LMFAO Type hair
Even shorter dreadlocks, just one inch per lock maybe
Straight hair with a flair up front
Gelled Mohawk

And not to mention the beards are bad too, they need to add some actual 3D beards.

Let's be more productive, and actually make more suggestions, because they won't know what to do with constant flaming except add even worse styles.

I still think they will have more customization this year. Just because Ronnie chose a haircut that was in last year's game doesn't mean they didn't add more variety this year. We gotta wait and see, fellas.

Have you guys seen how crazy some of the rookies are in association mode? They give black people white people hair, I had a black guy with gelled up andris beidrins hair

They give black people faces from the first bar of faces and white people faces from the 2nd bar. I'm just glad there's no more green haired people anymore.
