Exophase has posted some interesting information, as they reveal the NBA 2K13 achievements.

Play a MyTEAM game online.
Adjust your "Total Sim Control" strategy in The Association or Season mode.
Play a MyPLAYER Blacktop game online.
Play with an historic team online.

"My" seems to be the theme for all their modes. I would like to believe it is some sort of crew mode but im doubtful after seeing "purchase 15 boosters". what could u possibly needs boosters for in crew mode??

And why wouldn't they exactly? Why can't it be MyTEAM as in My Ultimate Team?

Don't get your hopes too high, so you won't be disappointed if it turns out not to be crew. Keep your hopes low, and you might just be pleasantly surprised.

Had it been just MyTEAM, I wouldn't bother arguing with it. But the fact that they have "Boosters", points to what EA has been doing with UT.

If it ain't crew don't come back b**ching and moaning about they said crew was back, they lied and all thay sh*t later because nobody is gonna want to hear it. If this does turn out to be crew or a crew type mode then great.

The stage well set for a bunch of pissing and moaning if Crew isn't in now. Gonna have a bunch of fiends talking about they won't buy 2K or something.

Yeah, they'll go buy the other game which won't have Crew Mode either, that'll show those unyielding sods at 2K that won't give entitled fiends what they want! Instead of giving you my money I'm going to throw it in a heap and set it on fire!

Perhaps, but not really my point. I mean like if as part of the process you play in the Olympics or FIBA where as in past years you played Summer League or something.

Just throwing it out there to keep hope alive that you can make the Olympics which no one has really confirmed and frankly I don't think will happen at all.
