To upgrade Acceleration from 75 to 76 costs 20,000 xp...
Does that price go up as the attribute goes up? To go from 85 to 86 - would it still cost 20,000?
the price goes up each time you raise it. just like in 2k's my player mode. the price is also effected by age. older players take more xp to raise the same rating.

I really like the sound of that. It almost makes sense. I say this becase when you get older you lose abilities not gain them, or at best maybe maintain them.
Do they have a age limit on the players you can improve abiliteis on?
You better stay off OS the next few days man or you'll end up talking yourself into getting Madden 13. I'm telling you, people are going to have some really good things to say about it.

I believe he also said last night that when a player reaches a certain age, they will have to earn even more XP to counteract the regression XP that they will receive

I dont understand why people always give crap to strawhat, he has a right to his opinion along with everyone on this site and beyond.
Look madden is going to be fun and a great game this year but we have suffered many years of half A$$ work on the part of EA. So for people to complain about things that are not fixed for many years IMO is ok.
I'm mind blown at how well put together this mode is looking .
Me too. I love how it looks COMPLETELY new, and it's so clean and well-organized. I especially loved that hub Josh showed to access player submenus and all that. Very efficient and logical.
Trying not be a doofus here, but if you retire a player mid-season and try as another one, the XP you've earned thus far w/previous player does not 'roll over' into that new player, right?
Damn.. this makes waiting until monday night just that much worse.. i guess the benefit is I have to work all weekend and monday and tuesday lol.
But wow does this mode look SO much better than the old franchise and superstar modes. I like how it is performance based.. not just on your potential.. so if a player does not perform well even with high potential they do not gain XP and progress slowly. HELLO RAMS FRANCHISE!

You could get Season Ticket and start playing tomorrow
"The first RPG in a sports game" ? Really ? All the things that are here have been in other games for year (NBA 2K for example has had those differences on Players playing the same position for years and also allowed to play as any player last year allready)
