Also that Westbrook dunk was a thing of beauty

No, what I said and the way I meant to be interpreted was that when Love pulls his up and under for some reason Randolph runs off screen and is never seen again.

Not going to nit pick this vid, but some things I didn't like.

The left handed finishes as others have already mentioned.

Also that Boozer dunk is horrible. Been around way too long. No one ever dunks like that and it just looks bad.

The more this game evolves, the more I hate the player modes. Why does Arron Afflalo have no neck?

loved the Westbrook drive and dunk in the updated video. sequences like that almost never happened in 2k12...first his crossover and first step felt more explosive than 2k12...second, the dunk animation was quick with no stopping gather. third, he kept the ball above his head to avoid getting it blocked. good, appropriate contextual animations in that sequence.

in 2k12, the crossover and first step would've been sluggish, and then the dunk animation would've caused him to stop and do a two-footed gather and he would've attempted a windmill which would've been blocked from behind or something. when dunking in traffic, the player should ALWAYS keep the ball ABOVE HIS HEAD to avoid getting it blocked. for the most part i have seen 2k follow this rule in the 2k13 footage i've seen. the Durant dunk in this same video is another example of an appropriate dunk animation - quick and explosive, and he kept the ball above his head...none of that stopping gather and crazy windmill garbage.

proper and effective animations are crucial. incorrect or ineffective animations can take a game from enjoyable to infuriating. i hope they got it right this year.

Looks like they scrapped the Knicks (Tyson and Melo vs Artest) footage. Perhaps they accidentally revealed the new NYK jerseys, then someone from the league requested to put them down.

I know that this is really high level stuff, but hopefully we'll get to the point someday where the A.I. know when to "give up". The play with Jeremy Lin is especially bad. He needed to just lean back, or move to the side and wait to receive the inbound pass because that play was over.

He repeats it all the time in real life. a crossover is crossover, a layup is a layup, and a tomahawk dunk is a tomahawk dunk. some animations are effective and serve a purpose...so there's no need to replace animations that work. now, reusing bad animations, that's another story.

it's similar to the people that complain every year that the player faces look the same as the previous game. why should 2k be expected to redo all of their player models every year? Last I checked most NBA players don't have their faces drastically altered with plastic surgery during the offseason. Why would 2k redo a player's face if they already had him looking accurate in the previous game? 2k's faces are usually very accurate, yet every year there's somebody who complains that 2k didn't redo the player faces.
I think its stupid worrying about this aint right that aint rite girl stuff lol

I know the guys read the forums and I'm pretty sure they are taking notice of this. If so I hope they don't take too much of this in and forget that the most important thing is improving the gameplay and features of season/association/exhibition/online exhibition/online leagues.
