Jerzey that was lovely to watch...the walk up animation, the dribble drive by Harden...I just wish you used the picks that were being set up for you. I'm guessing the controls and the momentum took some time to get used to?

Game looks smooth

Wow. Whats with the player movement? It looks the worst since years. Also players dribbling into other players legs for seconds without nothing happening. Game looks awkward. Last years gamescon vids looked way smoother ... oh well hope its a veeeery early build.

AI makes a wierd switch on Battier (I think, don't see clearly) at 6.25 leaves him wide open from 3.

Quick Question: Did the CPU utilize the mid-range game (dribble pull-up Js) more when you played against the AI?

Hopefully there were less PIP and 3pt shots taken by the CPU this year around.

Hey Muzyk.

To me..the players are jumping straight up...arms straight up...and then their arms kind of warp/bend back towards the ball.

It's not like your whole entire body moving towards the rebound.

It's your arms going straight up and then bending backwards or sideways for the ball.

Guess I'm the only one seeing it.

I will say a positive about the rebounding. I saw Sefalosha grab a rebound with one hand and slap/secure the rebound with his other hand. I thought that was really cool.

I see it too. Looks very unnatural, but I can't think of a game that's had it right. I was thinking about that yesterday as a matter of fact too. Should be jumping towards the ball instead of straight up and arms morphing towards it unnaturally.

Not a knock on it at all, as I don't know one that's done it better thus far.

Looks great. Thanks for the vid. Sooo smooth. The only thing i didnt like which i wouldn't have cared about but Rob Jones mentioned this:
reactions at the end of quarters and games would be more seamless and lifelike and in this vid Bosh hits a shot at the end of the quarter and just stands there. Nobody reacted soo I wasn't too fond of that, since Rob Jones got me hyped about the improvement.

Very nice vid. Love the walk up dribble animation performed by D-Wade. Seems like the user controlling the Heat actually gave a shot to right stick dribbling, seeing some nice linking between pre-dribble and dribble moves.

Thanks JerseyReign!

More natural, that's pretty much all I can say.

1:48-1:55.....A thing of beauty. The way Durant dipped his shoulder to drive past Bosh which he did with ease and left Bosh standing there then pull up just as it would play out irl was so nice.

2:08-2:20....Pay attention to Lebron as he is cutting to the basket. IRC in 2k12 players only made cuts to the basket down on the baseline. They never made cuts from the free throw line. This make you more dangerous on offense. Players no longer can just wait and sit on the predictable cuts on the baseline and vice versa for when you are on defense. You know have to guard those types of cuts if you choose to play off-ball.

Rashard Lewis shot is spot on. Arms extended all the way but with very little bend from the elbow.

Noticing throughout the entire video that the faster player is able to blow past his defender

I like the new sub display. It does not clutter the screen anymore and you can still see the entire court now.

Thanks for the vid

I thought Durant only did his point to the sky thing when he made a three?

player model's legs are too bulky

The dribbling animations look sweet. Can't wait to try it out for myself. Gonna need a lot of practice.

Will they be basing their feedback on a more recent version of NBA 2K13 or would it be the same built in the video at Gamescom? Thanks!

It was the Gamescom build - the regular build includes features, modes, presentational stuff we haven't began talking about yet. The core gameplay, however, is playable - and the guys spent literally ALL DAY playing it and got to spend time with the Dev's for a long while as well. It was a great session for them and I'm sure they will put together their feedback in the next few days to get out to all of you.
