Once sliders and higher difficultly, it shouldnt be as automatic((hopefully).
I am guessing/assuming, but I think Sefolosha will be a Lockdown Defender. It hasnt been announced, but he has been a good perimeter defender. If it has sig skills, it will most likely be Lockdown Defender and Pick-Pocketer
did anyone notice that ray Allen hit a three but was the character model of Shane battier???
That's just making stuff up. It's a blurry video with poor lighting. Allen's model looks too bright but then again the whole clip was bright. Besides, both Allen and Battier have quite light skin and are both bald.
How can you guys love something that's not accurate in real life??? You rarely see bumping in the NBA and you would be hard pressed to find bumping without a foul called... I'm sorry it's just the truth... I hated the bumping in 2k12 and I already can see I'm going to hate it in 2k13... NO HAND-CHECKING!!!!
Although the game isn't anywhere near finished and terrible clarity, the players looked like NBA Live years ago... I don't know if that's a good thing... Westbrook looked ridiculous... Everything else as far as ball movement looked realistic though... They made Ray shot faster I see...
Actually I can, Chalmers is in front of Allen there for not in position to make a chest pass which would easy be intercepted, a bounce pass would force Allen out of position and unable to spot up for a quick shot, the lob over the defender was the best option.
Exactly. There was no way the defender could have stolen that pass, watch the replay. A chest pass would've gotten intercepted and a bounce pass probably would've snuffed the shot attempt.

You can use a forearm tho! watch it again. Durant uses his forearm to play defense against Lebron. I guess everyone wants the defender to have an invisible force field around them.
With Lebron trying to drive on Durant, what did you want the computer defender to do??
Game looks nice very smooth. I actually liked this clip because it looked just like the Heat when they isolate and have nothing to do basically a bad possession saved by Ray Allen. The on ball defense is realistic and nothing looks out of place. This clip plus DaWolf's preview shows isolating and abusing the right stick dribble will not work if you can play solid on ball defense. You will have to at least run plays or go pick and rolls eventually. Can't wait to see gameplay part 2
can someone explain the reason behind the microphone instant replay graphic? I mean I respect what JayZ has done/will do for this game but what does music (is this instance) have anything to do with basketball?

A 30 second clip is all that's been shown. You know as much as the rest of us. Besides, it's just graphics. What did the floating glass have to do with basketball that was in 2K12? It's just artistic design.

Looked more like a piston from an engine to me...not really bothered by it since the clip is so damn short...

wish we had more vids...
The graphic doesn't bother me, im actually intrigued. It makes me wonder how much presentation has changed this year. 2k usually does a good job every year improving presentation, however this year could be very different from years past. Maybe moving away from the standard tv style broadcast 2k normally strives for.
Good input, sir. Why don't you appreciate what's good instead since that outweighs the bad.
Getting tired of people nitpicking and not seeing the big picture instead.
I wouldn't even pay attention to blanket posts like that. Some people really have no interest in actually breaking down what they THINK they don't like.
^^^^That's what I'm saying I never heard 2k use the term rtp. I think they just said they fixed the physics. I would like to know what engine they are using.

Okay, that wasn't hand checking. I guess you have 20/40 vison, because I can barely make out the players faces, so for you to see Westbrook face is amazing. The player models look nothing like live, and if your going to say a absurd statement like that you can at least say which live, so we can compare for ourselves.
It's only 30 seconds and is the first real gameplay video we have at this moment. I'm grateful that this vid, popped up. Maybe jerzyreign and dawolf will get some gameplay videos tomorrow.
