I have reached out to EA Sports asking when we'll get an invite. Obviously, we aren't invited to tomorrow's event, but there will be others. I'm sure we'll be in attendance for at least one of them.

If I was EA I wouldn't come here either because when its all said and done its still a buisness. If this was september then I would have concern but EA have enough time to still market the game and if the game is good enough it will get a lot of attention.
Damn, looks like tomorrow is pretty much judgement day for Live. At this point there just isn't much else they could still be working on, without pushing back the release obviously. I'm at least slightly happy to hear that they're showing it at all, with all the cancellation talk going around. If they don't allow IGN, etc to show some actual gameplay clips on their sites, it's probably not a good sign.

We have no idea whom the game is being shown to or what the purpose of this event is.
Either way, correct me if I'm wrong - OS was never denied access to this. They simply were never invited.
I'm sure there is a reason for that. But I wouldn't overreact just yet - there are more troubling reasons to be concerned about the status of the game, not this one event.

I haven't made anything clear except the fact that people shouldnt excuse crap, even though some of yall are doing it anyway
Im not taking credit for E- LITE.... believe me, EA and hockeyman can have the credit, but I did post the very first real gameplay videos that weren't staged and you can search the forums and the web to see.. I was apart of the community team for that game although I didnt go that time, some of the guys here did go, so they know whats up
What I think is you've come here too worried about what other people think of the game instead of posting your own thoughts on it yourself and I suggest you back up a little bit and only talk about things you have real information on.

Most of us wouldn't have wasted our time to go to Vancouver and help shape the game to be a better basketball game if we wanted it to fail.
What you're ignoring is the fact that a good amount of people check here routinely with the hope we can have multiple enjoyable titles to spur innovation, much like back in the day.
