Being a giants fan I feel that Eli should be 95. He put up great numbers last year and won the super bowl but isn't a top 3. My ratings would be:

Drew Brees: 99 (Broke basically every record)

Aaron Rodgers: 98 (Great QB but Brees is just better)

Tom Brady: 97 (Still one of the best there is and is constantly great)

Eli Manning: 95 (Proved he was one of the elite QBs in football but isn't yet on the level as the above 3)

Peyton Manning: 93 (Missed a year and is older but still looks to be good)

Matt Stafford: 93 (Put up great numbers but isn't a great QB yet)

Ben Rothlesinberger: 92 (Good QB on a great team)

Philip Rivers: 91 (Good QB but a great QB would have won with that team.
The bad team excuse is pointless if you want to consider him one of the top 5 in the league because he would have led the team to the SB if he was)

Tony Romo: 89 (A good QB sometimes, an above average QB other times)

Mike Vick: 88 (He is fast but not the great thrower he used to be)

I would say they are, both got rings.

the only overrated one is Peyton Manning, with that year out i would have said he should have been started out at 89-90. then raise/drop if he performs/under-performs.

I'm just happy Romo has finally earned the community's respect. All his haters just make themselves look so stupid nowadays.

As far as the ratings go, I could easily complain and make EA look silly but I stopped letting them play on my emotions. I just try to enjoy whatever garbage they want to give me because of the NFL Logo stamped on the cover.

As usual all the qb's are overrated

tony romo suck. if a qb cant take is team to the playoff with weapon like des bryant, mile hurstin, and jason witten, then you cant win with any body. tony romo is pure garbage.

Romo's career record as a starter: 47-30 (61%).

By that "logic" Eli is the only clutch qb in the league. After all the others "failed" in their last game, right?

Romo has 13 4th qtr comeback wins to his credit; Eli has 21, while Tebow and Flacco are tied with 6 apiece.

Romo's career 4th qtr QB rating is tops among active qb's.

Wow.

You quoted a post that clearly stated that Romo has 13 4th qtr come from behind wins and 14 game winning drives on his resume (and provided a link to back the claim up). If you can't be bothered to read what others have said you probably shouldn't be posting here at all.

I'm an Eagles fan that HATES the Cowboys with a passion, but I can still say Romo is a good QB.
He's got a point, your no good if you can't win when it counts and the pivotal losses are mostly romos fault. Thats what sets Eli apart, up to this point he may not have been as consistent but he is far and away a better big game Qb. A consistent Eli is easily a top 5 Qb.

Put him at 90 and I can agree with those ratings.
This is ignorant at best. Did you watch a single Lions' game last year? No one will be dismissing Stafford at year's end.... mark my words. I watched every snap and he will be in the top 5 QB's for the next decade.

Typical Bears fan.... Stafford didn't have a good game on MNF? Get real.... 5,000 yards, 41 TDs. That's all I have to say. It takes Cutler 2 seasons to get those stats. BTW... Megatron only had a quarter of those yards, so yes... Stafford can throw to other receivers as well. 2012 will open the eyes of Bears' fans and NFL fans alike with Stafford.

which monday night game are you talking about. stafford has never had a good game against the bears. any time he play the bears he either get knock out of the gm or throw four picks. mathew stafford is overated. please post a video of mathew stafford picking apart the bears defence.

mathew stafford is not good agains good defence, so is tony romo. all the 41 td 5000 is nonsense. if you cant pick apart a good defense then you suck. were was mr 41 td and 5000 yards in the playoff.

I would still take a banged up PEYTON over ELI, buy seasons end PEYTON 97 ELI 92 so enjoy your time better than your brother ELI it wont last long

Ill take Cutler over Stafford, when he had a OL and WRs he was considered in that top 5 group, he now has a WR still no OL though. QBs that consistently WIN dont care about yards, Tom Brady unanimous MVP 3900 yards. If they go to 18, some want 20 now, about 10 QBs will surpass Dan Marinos 5084 yards almost every year, this year there was about 6 in 16 games that were on pace or getting close.

thank you very much. yard dont mean jack ****. cam newton is a rookie and he put up 4500 yard, but guess what he had a loosing record. if a qb of a team cant get is team to the playoff then qb suck. i am not saying cam newton suck, but he was not good enough to make the playoff last season.

Not sure if serious, cause Brees was seen as an elite QB before Jimmy burst on the scene while obviously there's question as to whether Stafford is great because of his play or from Calvin's

# 177 StreetCarp @ 08/01/12 02:45 PM
No QB that throws for 41 TD and 16 INT deserves a lower rating than 95, even if he has Megatron to throw to.

Just stop. Saying things like "tony romo suck" and "tony romo is pure garbage" adds nothing to your argument. All it does is make you look immature and ignorant by throwing out statements like that.

If you want to bring up logical and factual points as to why you feel Romo is "overrated" then be my guest, but right now you are just making yourself look bad.

saying tony romo cant win games with weapon like mile austin, des bryant, and jason witten is not a logical point. not making the playoff with a good team like the cowboy is not a logical point. he won only one or two playoff game is whole career. learn how to talk like a responsible human being instead of calling people name.

Yeah, because the QB is the whole team.

You've been at this Cutler thing for almost 2 days, let it go, man. It's getting to the point where you are trolling.

Your rantings won't change anything.
