This build wasn't a late build. They say the art team usually the last people to tweak the game. And as u see the nice cleats u can clearly see its at that stage. The shoes look good but they aren't multi color like jean Adams said they would be. And every players has the same color patterns that's not right with the real nfl

I do not understand why some of you guys bash Eli. Giants have become a pass heavy team. He might not be "pretty" to watch sometimes, but the dude is a winner, he gets the job done.

As long as they play like themselves I don't care if everyone is rated at 99.

Since when is a Superbowl win an individual stat?

Oh are you the guy who uses the espn version when it suits? Your posts here make more sense now
I only use total qbr, it's a better overall rating for the position. Just look at how the two are calculated. QB rating puts far too much weight into pass completions %, and doesn't take into account drops, sacks or pass interference plays. Total qbr is simply the best way to evaluate a QB.

Yea instead of voting on ratings we should have had the option to vote on features. I must rather have the ability to edit rosters than play as anyone in superstar.

That said, these fan vote polls on ratings undermine the entire madden ratings. What research goes into these if "fans" can dictate some ratings. It's especially crazy to let them pick a rating like speed which is the end all be all in this generations madden.
Not that 40 times mean much for football speed, but RG3 was 4.41 officially at the combine. Vick didn't run at the combine but ran 4.33 at his pro day. This was 10+ years ago so obviously these numbers don't mean much. Also keep in mind RG3 is a track guy and has the form and technique down. I think Vick's quicker, but RG3 might have better long speed if that makes any sense.

Man these ratings are inflated...

Remember when they said they were going to spread the ratings more out?

I understand why they did it. I just don't agree with it. I'd personally just put him a little higher. About a 95. I don't see any way Big Ben should be higher than Peyton.

Big Ben gotta 95 and Eli 97 *falls out of chair, Stephen A Smith face palm*

Maybe this is their way of tweaking things to make it a more accurate game, with the way NFL officiating has made defending the pass nearly impossible in recent years.

# 92 Champion8877 @ 07/30/12 11:12 PM
Eli a 97 is a joke. He wasn't even in the top 10 completion percentage last year, his TD:INT ratio was less than 2:1, his passer rating was above average, but not amazing. And yes, I know stats are not everything, he did come up up clutch in multiple games and helped lead his team to a Super Bowl, but a 97? Really?

Eli is overrated this season, both in Madden and real life, just because the Giants won the Super Bowl. In my personal opinion he should be more around the 92 range, I think Ben, Peyton, and Romo should all be rated higher than Eli.

But this is my opinion of course, feel free to disagree(I'm sure many will).

# 93 DeuceDouglas @ 07/30/12 11:13 PM
I feel obliged to post something like "Matt Cassel isn't a 97?!?! This game sucks!!!", but that wouldn't be very rational.

I wish they'd just show the top 32 QB's so we got a better idea of how things looked.

So are you going to argue that Trent Dilfer is a better player than Dan Marino just because he won a super bowl and Dan didn't? Super Bowls have nothing to do with who is a better player, a Super Bowl determines who is the better team.

What's wrong with the spread? You have a top ten guy in the 80s. That's pretty good to me. Besides, a lot of people don't think ratings matter in this game anyway. So really, what's the difference?

edit:

I mean, if you look at it, Romo killed it last year. In past Maddens, he'd probably get a 94-95 OVR with that performance. But this year, he's only a 90. So I don't think the ratings are overdone at all from what I'm seeing.
