thats true i forgot about them trading up but still who do they have on that team that they derserve an 78? they have a buncha nobody's @ wr,te and most there postions.
the redskins deserved that 78. yes maybe other teams ratings are low i agree. but to say they have nobodys really?? Fred Davis and Cooley are both 85 ovr players. Garcon was a beast last year with a ****ty qb really i mean look who the colts had. Moss, Hankerson?? Helu was great at the end of last year. But our defenseive front 7 is one of the top 5 in the league. very underrated!! Remebered you said they had nobodys at most positions... DO you even know there LBs??? Orakpo(monster) Fletcher( LEADING TACKLER IN NFL!!!) Riley and Kerrigan!!! dont talk smack if you dont know a thing about a team bro. it makes you look stupid.
The one that stands out the most to me is the Texans being rated so low, especially considering they were pretty clearly the best team in the AFC last year until they lost Shaub and their backup QB (and still made a run in the playoffs).
No reason the Pats and Steelers should be so far ahead of the Texans (or even the Ravens for that matter). All 4 seem to be the class of the AFC.

Actually I think they are still overrated when looking at where every other team is. That rating is saying they are better than every team in the AFC West which I would say is wrong. It looks like all the overalls are down, so hopefully that means that ratings have been pushed down which would make me extremely happy.
Now I do agree that they are a dark horse team, but I can name a bunch of players too on a team that is rated lower but doesn't matter. I think they have a rating "boost" because they are in the media darling conference of the NFC East which really looks all overrated, but that is what happens when bias is allowed with ratings.
lol, anomolies- umm yeah. The Saints have managed to completely upgrade our weakest position at LB and bring in the #1 run stopping DT in Broderick Bunkley, offense has stayed the same and were a 78? I'm assuming that rating is before Brees shows up to camp...
And no, the Redskins most definitely DO NOT deserve a 78 if a team like the Texans are also a 78 (Texans scored nearly 100 more points than the Skins and gave up nearly 100 less, and did it with their top 2 QB's hurt at the end of the season).
A 78 may sound just fine out of context, but if the Saints, Cowboys, Jets, Texans, and Chargers are all in the 78/79 range, than how can you possibly justify the Skins also being there (and for that matter, how can you justify the Saints and Texans being that low)... its a bit of a joke
I don't care for team overalls, they mean almost nothing. If I buy the game and do a season, I'll sim a season first and whichever team the Cpu sims as the worst, I'll use that team for my season.
A joke? They have arguably the top talent in the game.
lol, yeah a regular "Dream Team" right. It is interesting how their giving the Eagles a lot of credit based off a piece of paper yet teams with just as good players that actually performed at the highest level last year are 4-6 points below them...

I'm guessing the suspensions are possibly calculated in too. But to add to Bunkley he did only play in like 38% of the snaps so that could sway the stats a little. Sucked he was always off the field, but he has no pass rushing ability but sad to see him go.

Per ProFootballFocus-
Bunkley recorded the 8th most tackles among all DTs, despite participating in just the 45th most snaps. Over a full percentage higher than the closest player!

Don't get me wrong he was a beast when he was in, but the reason I brought up the percentage of plays was because exhaustion plays a factor. He was usually on fresh legs which helps. It goes in the same arguement between Von Miller and Aldon Smith with who was better. One was playing all downs while one was just rushing the passer. Von Miller I believe ended up with less sacks, but being in all downs and still putting up almost the same number of sacks is what was impressive.
But I still miss losing out on Bunkley, and hopefully the coaches know what they are doing.
