I'm really stunned by this news. Sad that NCAA 13 isn't getting this, but that just means I get to keep $60.

well, I used to only buy NCAA for my football fix - now it looks like I will have to buy Madden if this is not in NCAA.. this is flat out awesome to finally see. Like the other poster above, guess I will buy Madden for only the 2nd time this console generation.

Dude... Connected Careers? Infinity Engine? New passing trajectories and new catches?

All I need is for NBA 2K13 to be on point... and this could be the best year in sports gaming EVER!

EDIT: Not to mention all the new "Smartglass" stuff for the 360... being able to create plays on the fly for Madden, Kinect capabilities... man oh man...

It's definitely a big deal; kudos to the team for implementing a dramatic change. I'm holding back judgement until I see gameplay video; if it's physics don't understand how the OL/DL isn't really affected - if that's still the case. When I saw the Joe Montana Kinect demo nothing really jumped out; still not feeling how the game animates in the brief snippets. But that they seem to have been able to remove a good amount of animation clipping and will add a more impactful tackles deserves praise.

not impressed...

RTP was never big on my list of things.... i hope it works fine i hope it helps WR/DB interactions...

i would have gladly taken team tendencies/coach profiles over this anyday....
