Just announced in the E3 EA Press Conference: Real Time Physics are in Madden NFL 13 in what is dubbed the Infinity Engine. Cam Weber stated on stage, "No two plays will be the same."

It aint perfect but its a huge step in gameplay. now just needs tweaking and footplanting implemented in this game

This is absolutely amazing. No, this is not just Madden hype. This is actually amazing work, and the footage is there to prove it. I bet The Sim Standard still isn't gonna have anything positive to say about this, haha. But fantastic job EA, I can't wait to get this game.
