Just in time for the start of NFL OTAs, RateSports has released its latest modification project for the Xbox 360 version of All Pro Football 2K8:

The "NFL 2K13" project includes:

1) Season mode files featuring all 32 NFL teams. There is one file for each NFL team, usable in season mode only.

2) A selection of head-to-head files featuring eight NFL teams per pack. Each head-to-head file pack includes eight NFL teams for use in local exhibition mode.

These files are for offline use only and will not work online.

Only the Xbox 360 version of All Pro Football 2K8 is supported. A PlayStation 3 version of the mod is not possible due to Sony's current file encryption system.

If you're able to edit stadiums...are you able to edit player models?...how about the color of the stadium crowd (i.e. the crowd wearing the home team's colors...like arrowhead stadium being a sea of red)?

thanks... I am currently re-working a new roster recreating 3500 players lol.. but your roster and game play of 2k8 has caused delays with mine lol

I am also a big fan of the fast gameplay speed. It improves the line play dramatically.

On normal speed, the animations take a little too long to play out along the line.

Not to be picky, but could you do the 4 transactions I mentioned on the other page for the Steelers for the next update ? Thanks!! What do you mean all-stars fixed??

Yeah I play on fast too. When i make my edits, i watch a lot of cpu vs cpu...on 'fast'...its like watchin an actual real-life game

Rate .....

I experienced a freeze while playing as the Bears last night (season roster). Froze the screen and my 360 while at the LOS on offense.

Not sure if this was a fluke or an roster issue similar to the Steelers. I forget who my opponent was but I'll play another game tonight with the Bears and see how it goes.

I just have a few questions for you guys with this mod already.

Ive never owned apf2k8 and was just wondering....

In the season mode do we only have the choice of playing with the 1 team we select or can we select multiple teams like in nfl 2k5 or play other teams games ?

I also read there are only 25 teams in season mode . Is that info correct?

For those who were asking for "head to head" sliders, we used these in an online league many years ago and they worked out pretty well:

It looks like it freezes on the "resorting default rosters" screen when you try to go online.

This may just be because there are too many created players left open in the file.

The fix I had to do whenever I used to edit teams was to change all the player types from "05" (created player) back to "84 01" (default roster player) once I was finished editing the players.

Basically, you have to "open" a player to edit him (player type 05) then "close" him (player type 84 01) once you get done editing.

That tricks the game into thinking that all the players you've just changed are normal roster players, and then you can get past the "restoring default rosters" screen successfully.

Are there other issues you ran into besides having too many CAPs open on the player edit screen?

As long as you stay under the default open CAP limit (I think it's 20?), it should let you past the online verification screen.

The other thing I've seen that can block you out of online is not having the right amount of stars per team (it has to be 11).
