MLB 12 The Show Game Update 1.16 Arrives, Details Included - Post Your Impressions

Another MLB 12 The Show game update arrived this morning, bring it up to version 1.16. Check below for the details and let us know what you are seeing.

Schedules and box score were misaligned for a portion of the games for certain teams.
Occasionally when loading into online games, an empty field (home plate view) would be shown and user has to PS button out.
Analog bunting interface, versus a behind the pitcher view in online games would cause a frequent freeze when the user on offense bunted.

I'm assuming yes, but does this include people that only have the opening day patch?

I skipped 1.06, and am in May running a single team franchise. Am I presumably okay (keeping in mind I NEVER patched outside of the release day patch)?

It's the anonymity of the internet. People feel they can say things to people that they would never say in person, because they feel there are no repercussions.

That and people around here have this insane sense of entitlement, which leads them to believe everyone should drop everything to solve their problems immediately. Used to not be a problem in the Show forums, but unfortunately that seems to have changed.

I miss the days when OS was just a handful of us.

I'm in the minority here, but I am having no problems with the patch. However, I just bought the game and I had no saves on the game. Hadd two 6K packs of RTTS points and no freezing in RTTS.

EDIT: this is WITH OS Rosters

?? so we have no right to be unhappy if we purchase a game and then after putting hours into it, it gets ruined because of a patch?? i only feel entitled to play the game i bought. not looking for anything extra here. noone is complaining anymore now that we now its being taken care of. how bout all the "relax people', relax. everyone is calm now

This is not a forum run by SCEA. If you have an issue with them, contact them. If you want to share your experience and give feed back and not demand information from a specific company then Id say youre in the right place. SCEA has no obligation to any of us here and we need to realize this is not SCEA SD help hotline where all your questions and complaints get addressed. Things are moving along now but understand frustration but not the reactions.

I have not had any problems with the patches but I am curious to know what is all included int his patch as there isn't very much confirmed. But I have lots to do until then...like simming my life away...lol

You completely missed the point. If it didn't apply to you don't worry about it. You've been here what? one day? Read what I post, before popping off.

What they don't understand is, poor behavior and etiquette when dealing with the devs just ends up making them not want to interact with their user base. We've gotten a lot of features implemented in to the game because of our direct interaction with the devs. We've also squashed a lot of bugs over the years because of that.

I would hate to see our little community ruined like so many of the others at OS, because a bunch of new posters showed up and made it unbearable for all.

Has anyone who started a franchise AFTER patch 1.06 gotten any weird glitches, like the mega losses glitch? Or is that just happening with the franchises that were started BEFORE patch 1.06?

FYI, not that its any of your business, but I dont even know the guy, but I liked his comment because he has the right to express his opinion especially when something that is supposed to fix issues only creates more.

Many people want answers so they come here to get them because they know nowhere else to go.
Instead of strong arming people and bullying them into silence, its much more productive to explain to them the process respectfully so they dont repeat the same mistake again.

I have no issues with the Devs nor the game.
I understand that there is an incredible amount of data necessary to fix any one given issue.
But to essentially tell people to shut up and be patient is not the solution.

Getting really tired of asking people to post on the topic. Same people too. Obviously the warnings aren't clear enough.

There are people here that want to read impressions not a back and forth little bickering exchange.

I'll check again tonight. So far I've been fine having started my Franchise post 1.60. I'm also still in April.

This may bite me in the butt, but I started my franchise pre-1.06 but was still in spring training when the patch hit. When patch 1.16 hit I was on April 21st and DL'd it. So far I haven't experienced any freezing or other issues.

Just wanted to pass this along to try and help.

Tree5, I've read many people have no issues with franchises post 1.06 who also Dled 1.16 and continued. .

My own experience is great but I started everything brand new after 1.16.
