As someone who has been very frustrated w/ the game the past several years all I can say is this: They actually have the new FAU and North Texas stadiums in the game and from what they said, these two stadiums may be the most visually amazing stadiums based on how they scanned them! I am excited about that. I am also glad to hear them admit the failures of the commentary and that that is being worked on.
I get that it's a 4-year process but at least they're doing something about it.
The 17th will be huge because game-play is the biggest thing of all. But so far, EA, my hat is off to you. This one hour broadcast was so much better than a single screen shot like in years past.
So this is completely off-topic, but it was in the webcast: Did I read correctly that I would have to preorder from Amazon to get 5 Pro Combat uniforms? I ask because the only one I really want is Oregon (not sure if it's the Rose Bowl uni's, but that's even more incentive).
I don't get why all the uniforms just can't be put into the game, but I guess you gotta market the game somehow. No big deal though.
i don't get this either. i understand having a pre-order incentive, but why split it up between places?
i don't care about the unis, but i would like to get the heisman guys and also am intrigued by the 5 star qb thing (anyone got any idea what that is?).
i probably won't use any of them that much, if at all, but i don't understand splitting it up. i'm not going to pre-order from 2 different places, much less 4 or 5.
This is what bugs me.
They are right now, ripping their own game from past years.
Saying the audio was crap, and the chants were half heartedly made.
What happened when they first came out 2-3 years ago?
"WE NOW HAVE CROWD CHANTS. ITS IN THE GAME!!!"
smh
Well better late then never I guess. Atleast they are now trying to use real schoole chants from real schools. Instead of doing it on the roof again this year. LOL Glad they are changing.
While it will be considered by most to be "fluff" ... I liked everything they showed. It will all go a long way into making the feel of the game that much better.
One piece that I wish they could have show/played is the crowd swells. And I would have liked to have heard a mention of the crowd being more intelligent and reacting at the right times.
Well overall I thought the broadcast was good. Now it all comes down to April 17 when it comes to gameplay broadcast. If the gameplay is the same from years past. Then EA will have a hugh problem on their hands. But if the gameplay is different in a lot ways. Then NCAA13 will have a great year in sales. Hoping for the best right now.

Looking forward to hearing everyone's thoughts on the 17th.
I was hopping to see some uniform degradation, last year's game was terrible. hopefully it will be like madden 12. oh did i see some long haired white guys sweet hopping it looks good in game.
