According to CAG, you can purchase MLB 12 The Show for PS3 and PS Vita at Best Buy, for $80. The sale starts on March 4th through March 10th.

Looks like I have a plan B in the works. Just got a call from a family member that wants to do a simple private catering Friday. Should make about 50.00 cash in my pocket for it.

Anyone else pre-order with Best Buy? This is my first time doing so, but I think I'm very glad I did... because I got an email today saying my game is shipping today. It would be very cool if I was able to get it this weekend.

I hate to tell you this but BB and Playstation are cross promoting The Show and Motorstorm RC. Your copy of The Show is coming but it's tethered to a remote control monster truck. If everything goes right, it will arrive at your house in the afternoon on release day....

I have $15 in "rewards" from BB from a recent TV purchase. It's lame that you have to wait 30-35 days for those rewards. I think I bought my TV on 2/5 so 3/6 is technically 30 days, right? Once those points clear I'll pull the trigger...I really want it release day though!!!

I don't think I fully understand... they're going to send my PS3 copy of The Show 12 along with a free demo or something? And it won't be there until Tuesday no matter what day they say it ships?

you sly dog, you had me. i'm not much of a gamer and will believe pretty much what anyone here tells me.

hope it gets here this weekend too, but as long as it comes around release day, I guess I'll be happy. I hate shopping. It's nice to have it come right to the house.

I hope other stores match this just like the B2G1 deal on Vita games last week. Would love if Target matched it so I can get it for cheaper using my employee discount.

I really shouldn't have looked in this thread, because now I'm very tempted to pull the trigger on the Vita. I may just put in on my BB Credit Card and rack up the Reward Zone points and pay it off the following month.

I'm not surprised at all that GameStop won't price match; the last few times I've gone into the stores near me I've come away very disappointed in the employees there. I was going to buy TW 12 the other day used; I took the box to the counter and was informed that they didn't have the disc there ... what? Then, the guy said I could drive 30 minutes out of my way to pick up a copy at another store, instead of having that copy shipped to the store that's next to my house.

I was planning on getting my copy of The Show from them, but I've since canceled my pre-order and am going the BB route. We will see what the Mrs. says about the possible Vita purchase when I get back in town on Sunday
