I've actually equaled and surpassed the amount of media I have posted this year. In the past years, I've posted absolutely nothing in terms of media.

This year, I've done that and MORE. So I'm appalled you would say such a thing when I've obviously worked harder at delivering you nothing this year.

Haha...

I don't know how much more we can do other than a 24 hour show....
"The real lives of Community Day Attendees" broadcasting live while we are there.

Nice to know you think so much of our time and commitment though!
It's reassuring!!!

I personally think that the CD guys have doen a great job. They have told us everything we CAN do in the game and what new things were added. IMO stuff like updated presentation and smarter trading AI, those are all personal opinions, and I think these guys keep them to themselves because they really should. for example Knight may feel that the new homerun scenes are the best thing since sliced bread, whereas Nem may think they are okay, but don't add to the experience all that much. Now if they both post that, when everybody gets the game, half of the people will complain that Knight was full of crap and half will complain that Nem needs to focus more on presentation.

What I hope we get from the CD guys are facts, not opinions. Saying that hitting looks sweet and then seeing video to back it up, that is awesome. I mean what more do you want from them. They answer questions about stuff they can and leave opinions generally untouched.

And I imagine we will get blogs avery Friday until release, that still give us 3 weeks of info. One for DD, and really what else do we need a blog for??

Anyway, just my opinion and I would like to thank the CD guys for being so great to share their experience with us. Only 3 more weeks!!!!!

That's silly, the Yankees and Red Sox are the only teams that matter, everyone knows that.

Maybe the next year you guys should do a reality show "The Community Days with Ramone Russell" or something on NBC.

That way you don't have to spend time reporting stuff back on OS, as we will just watch you do work on TV!

Perhaps I was wrong in recalling that we always got big batches of screenshots from CD. I do admit my memory is not 100% flawless.

The only reason I even care is because (again from my memory) the CD screens are usually very good because they are of varying things...players, stadiums, etc. that we don't get from the "official" screen shots.

I did specifically mention that I wasn't complaining, more just curious at the lack of screens (btw, I've only been expecting to see screens since it was mentioned after CD that you all had taken screens and just couldn't post them yet). Please don't put words in my mouth like I'm not being appreciative. I was simply stating an observation. Then again, I've seen observations on here before that are misconstrued as an attack/insult/complaint so I can't say I'm surprised.

Obviously you all have done a great job and provided tons of info. I wasn't trying to takea shot at you guys at all.

Faithfully still dedicated to my 2010 Franchise...doesn't look like I'll be changing this year either...

I know...I myself was just kidding around.

We used to take screens...that's true.
I think we figured that Ramone would be releasing his.(I would see him setting up screen shots while I was simming)

I have a few pictures that I took at CD. I'm not posting them tho. Makes for a stronger conspiracy theory that way... and ratings for the upcoming reality show.

I'd like for details like this to be advertised as this is the kind of stuff that I absolutely love.
The presentation elements are some of the last pieces put into the game. Not everything was in even, when we were there. We commented on what we did see, and liked...

If I'm not mistaken it appears the first blog last year was on February 10th and there were only 3 or 4 actual blogs to go along with the different themed trailers. I don't believe we've gotten any less info this year than we had at this point last year. We certainly have been given lots of info about the game, even if we haven't seen a bunch of pics. You hit the point when you said the word spoiled - I can't name many games that give us this much access and insight during development - yet we still complain for more.

Mildly frustrating. Guess I've been spoiled by all the media we've usually seen by this point in years past, especially from the CD guys.

I think it was 2 or 3 years ago when SD released a ton of information - it seemed like every day we had a new blog, video or screenshot. I think this ultimately leads to a headache for Ramone, because giving us access is a double edged sword. On the one hand we get the content we crave keeping us at bay and on the other, Ramone has to do a bit of PR by answering a ton of questions relating to the content released or defending it from unsubstantiated critiques. That is not to say the game is perfect and I think SD Studios would be the first one to point this out, but critiquing a game that has yet to be released is a premature in my opinion.

The CD event is awesome because it gives OS a medium to directly connect with the developers. Most of the information we receive is from the attendees of the event and because the information isn't supplemented with media, some of us find that we are getting a lack of information - which clearly is not the case. [/soapbox]

To make the post at least somewhat on topic, even thought the video is not of great quality, the game looks amazing. Love the "whip" on pitcher's arm.

What about all the blogs? There have been what three blogs all about fluff for the most part. I want some in depth details on the new presentation. I saw posted on this forum by one of the CD guys that all the stadiums have individual home run cameras. That's a neat feature and nowhere to be found in the fact sheet. I want a blog to highlight some of these details.

You'd think if so much was done to the presentation Sony would want to rally market that and make it known. We are still at this point largely in the dark about supposedly one of the biggest enhancements this year (presentation and commentary).

Mildly frustrating. Guess I've been spoiled by all the media we've usually seen by this point in years past, especially from the CD guys.
I absolutely agree. Don't know why so little has been uploaded yet...
